Bio Photo My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.

I am currently working out the European background of Johann Jacob Fluck of Middletown. One loose end is Anna Ursula Long, wife of Christopher Long. Your notes on her indicate that she was daughter of Johann Jacob Fluck and her marriage record is at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Frederick in 1768. I do not find that record in Frederick Maryland Lutheran Marriages and Burials 1743-1811 by F. S. Weiser. Can you account for this discrepancy.

If she were truly Jacob Fluck's daughter and was born in 1744, she would have been born in Switzerland before his immigration to America in 1750. Jacob was born in 1724 and so could have been Ursula's father but there is no record of his marriage at that time. So can you supply verification that Anna Ursula was a Fluck?

Agnes Verdie Adams Vickers
Hello, This is my grandmother on my father's side. Her actual name is Verdie Agnes Adams Vickers. She did not like Verdie as her name and always used Agnes. Please can you change this since you are in control of her Find A Grave. Thanks Brian Vickers son of Harold Vickers

Hi - see the note I put in the bio section - I did not find an individual stone but according to the cemetery database he is buried in the plot with his wife and his sister-in-law - the headstone is his sister-in-laws.

The next time I'm in Linwood I'll try the water and see if that clears it up. Cheryl

James Wilson.
I will do some more research on our family but; the information you have might be the other James Wilson from that time period that is not related, at least we have not found a connection. Are you related to the one you gave us the information about?
Thank you
