My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.|

|DARCY SCHEERHOORN||Keedy / Geeting family|
Hi Carlene - I am interested in the information you have on the Keedy / Geeting family. My grandfather was George Herschel Keedy and we are from the George Washington Keedy lineage. I am wondering if this Keedy Cemetery is the one found out in the country, surrounded by farmland, not far from Eakles Mill? Thank you - Darcy Scheerhoorn

Ref: Jessie M. Snyder - Find A Grave Memorial# 127343693 - looking for verification her middle name is "Margaret." I've seen both "Marjorie" and "Marietta" - and now "Margaret" - and would like to include her given middle name. tom

Thank you so much for the correction. Winter is just around the corner.
As always thank you,

Carlene, I see you have a flower on the memorial for Jacob family B Ahalt (95811844) in Burkittsville Union. Since they are probably your family I just wanted to let you know he is not buried in Burkittsville Union. Jacob, his wife Mary, and a bunch of children are actually buried in Zion Lutheran - see memorial 167645998 (complete with pictures). Louise

Hi Carlene, I saw your photo requests for the Middlekauff family. I went to Zion Reformed church in Hagerstown yesterday and took pictures of all the legible headstones I could find and attempted to match them with all the photo requests. I know you had quite a few that I didn't get pictures for. It could be that I missed them. Or it could be that the headstone was too faded and I couldn't read them. But you can contact the church - they have contact info on their website. They are extremely nice. If they know which grave you are looking for, they could probably get you the pictures. They also can give baptism and marriage information.

I have no idea how I missed it. I have deleted mine. Things are good here as well.
