Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.

Jacob and Mary Ahalt
Carlene, I see you have a flower on the memorial for Jacob family B Ahalt (95811844) in Burkittsville Union. Since they are probably your family I just wanted to let you know he is not buried in Burkittsville Union. Jacob, his wife Mary, and a bunch of children are actually buried in Zion Lutheran - see memorial 167645998 (complete with pictures). Louise

Middlekauff
Hi Carlene, I saw your photo requests for the Middlekauff family. I went to Zion Reformed church in Hagerstown yesterday and took pictures of all the legible headstones I could find and attempted to match them with all the photo requests. I know you had quite a few that I didn't get pictures for. It could be that I missed them. Or it could be that the headstone was too faded and I couldn't read them. But you can contact the church - they have contact info on their website. They are extremely nice. If they know which grave you are looking for, they could probably get you the pictures. They also can give baptism and marriage information.

I have no idea how I missed it. I have deleted mine. Things are good here as well.

Take care,
Mike

Elisha Price Snyder Memorial
I have transferred this memorial to you as you seem to be closely related. You may make any changes you think are correct but remember that headstones are more accurate sources for the death date than for the birth date. You should verify the birth date with other sources if there is any questions.

Good Luck and Thanks for remembering our ancestors.

RE: Agnes Verdie Adams Vickers
Carlene, I actually contacted you to change Agnes' name to include her actual birth name Verdie. I should be able to get info on her mother. Also I have been in contact with a Ted Adams in WA that would also be related(his father was Agnes's brother) and he had some Adam's family history.

RE: James Hamilton, Jr.

Thank you so VERY much for the link and the additional information on James Sr. These are my (Scots) Irish ancestors that came to PA from Ireland. I know there are many James Hamiltons.
I appreciate any information I can get on the Hamiltons.

Phyllis
