Bio Photo My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.

RE: Stottern / Stoddard
As I have been working on my genealogy my Great Great Grandfather William Henry Vincent My Great Great Aunt (His Sister) Was Martha Ann Vincent Stoddard /STOTTERN she married John /Jackson Stoddard /STOTTERN and had these children

William Henry Stottern/Stoddard
1871 1949

Jennie (Jane) Eillen Stoddard /Stottern
1877 1956

Kathryn (Katie) Stoddard / Stottern
1879 1967

Anna Stottern/ Stoddard

Tom Stottern / Stoddard
1882 1963

John Stottern / Stoddard
1884 1972

The family lived in 1880 Midland, Lancaster, Nebraska
till sept 30 1934 Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska when Martha Died.
I was just wondering if you had any information on this family as I'm trying to make a definite connection and find out more about my Vincent family. I have been trying to speak to a Kaylynn related to the Stottern / Stoddard family but I have recently found out she has passedaway. She would have been my connection to this family as she was looking for the same information that I have been looking for. Thank You for your time I appreciate all of your help

RE: Henry Ahalt
Wow, apparently I am really bad about checking my messages. I asked one of the Ahalts that has done extensive research on the family name to try to find out the information for me. Hopefully when I see her again this weekend she will have an answer for you. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Mary J.Long
Hi Carlene- thanks for taking the time and researching Mary J. Long.

There is however a family connection somewhere. Her stone is directly to the left of Barbara Long's stone. On the other side is Joseph long and his wife Mariah. Someone paid for a stone and buried her in the middle of the family plot- there must be a direct family connection. See the picture on Barabara Smith Long entry and you will see all four stones in a row. She could be a daughter of Barbara but not John. Perhaps not officially acknowledged or adopted?

I normally only post direct links I read on the stones or ones I am informed of. I do not make assumptions just because the markers are next too each other.
