|After retiring, I took over my father's work on my family tree and it led to photographing headstones of my family in Iowa. So I thought, why not help others who live farther away? Plus, I find cemeteries so interesting and peaceful. There's no better feeling being outdoors on a nice day!|
Please feel free to use any of my photos.

Thank you for Florence's memorial. I've started her bio but have more to add. I appreciate you!

Gail, You're very welcome. As you can see, her husband is also there. I know you requested a photo of his monument also. If you would like to create a memorial page for him, I would be happy to post the same picture to his page. No need to submit another photo request. Just let me know when his page has been created.
Happy Holidays to you also.

I have written you before, but need to repeat that YOU are amazing! I continually am able to link people due to your memorials in Webster County it seems!
A distant relative, Jerry Dawson, passed away, and I put in a request for an additional photo of his parents' grave that might show the dates and surrounding relatives.
I DO appreciate the photo of the stone with DAWSON on it, just so you know!!!
Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave, and I couldn't agree more with your opinion you share on your bio. I have also recently retired after 30 years of teaching. My siblings think I am nuts, but I love going to cemeteries to photograph stones as a way to preserve the deceased. I'm always disappointed that I can't get a better photo on old stones, and then I don't know who is buried there. Ugh
Keep up your good work.
I lived through the weekend but nothing but sleep for last 2 days..did a lot of things and guess I am to old..went on bus trip to see leaves Sat. and I stayed on the bus most of the time and I sleep and sleep..will get back to you but I must go see my hubby tomorrow...got a new great granddaughter this last week...take care

Thanks for the quick edit responses!! I forgot to add Mary's middle name, will place an edit for it and her complete birth and death information. I am researching the Peterson/Florea Family from Adams County Ohio.
|shain hamric||Thank you|
I just wanted to thank you for all the work that you do. My friend and I live in michigan, he just found out his mother had a memorial and with this site we were able to see her memorial in Iowa all the way from michigan. He had tears of happiness tonite seeing what his aunt's did for his mom. Thanks again for this site and the picture posted.

Could you double check the dates on this photo? I have a Cynthia Bricker born in 1838-1839 and died in 1910. I think this is her. Thanks!
