My grandmother spent many years building our family history and as a young girl I loved to sit and look at the pictures of all my ancestors and read their stories. Sometimes I would catch a glimpse of myself in them and that always gave me a feeling of being connected to something more than just the here and now. I guess I could feel the eb and flow of life as each rolls into the next and leaves its impression.

I also spent many summer vacations traveling from cemetery to cemetery with my grandmother as she photographed the monuments and gathered her information. So, I have a deep appreciation for all the work that goes into building and maintaining this website. Many thanks to all who have contributed.
