"If you wish for a transfer,no problem. If they are not related to me, then I see no reason to keep them. All you have to do is ask." (Find A Grave #XXXX4213) and "I make Memorials in hopes of their family wanting them some day. I'm not into having the most Memorials!" (anon)|
I am a retired soldier, railroad engineer, and fifth-generation Californian, trying to memorialize what I have found in people's stories, but mostly, trying to share the vast research done by my brother, Ken. Our most prominent ancestors are the McPherson's of Alexander Valley, California and the Lea's of the Clear Lake, California area.
I also am working on Abbott, Combs, Curry, Combs, Hale, Hinde, Hixson, Kincheloe, Leach, Moore, Robinson, Sierck, Topper, Vassar, and Zittleman. There is also currently a project to recover large numbers of neglected memorials in the Sonoma County, California region I am assisting.
I am a Sons of the American Revolution society member, for those interested in that subject, and hold The Order of California from the California State Adjutant General for my service.
Here is another transfer philosophy that I believe is very healthy: "I always try to check for duplicates before posting, but sometimes miss them. I will make corrections or I will gladly transfer ownership of any of your relatives memorials to you. As a matter of fact, if you know more about these folks than I do, don't be surprised to get a transfer. If a memorial is a direct ancestor of mine, we can work out some agreement." (Find A Grave #XXXX2490)(47,000 memorials)

You are very welcome. I'm always glad when a family member finds one of my memorial submissions. I'm sure you will take very good care of her. Chris

You are most welcome!
I believe that way, way, way back ancestors of my deceased husband had something to do with Healdsburg, but nothing has been verified as yet. That's on my list. :)

I have just transferred ownership of Alice and Lewis's memorial pages to you.
You can add, delete or change anything you want.

This cemetery is a few miles from where I live. As far as I know I am not related to anyone but do have friends there. I hate to say it but I have forgotten which names we were talking about. If I can't blow it up from my original, it won't take but a short while for me to go and look. Sometimes I can make out what they say. Many have the same sayings so that helps. I got started in this by a cousin who loves genealogy and got me interested. I am currently trying to take pictures of sections of graves at Glenwood in Yazoo City. I work there and am on the same street. I am not into the old part, the newer part on the hill and am just about finished with the 3rd block. Find it very interesting and maybe somewhere down the line someone will appreciate it. Let me know the names and I will see what I can do. Sorry to be so wordy!

The son, William Howard Vassar, recently passed away. I have included him in Find A Grave. His memorial number is 131682278. Would you care to link him with his father, William Charles Vassar?

You are so welcome, glad I could help.
thanks a bunch for those transfers. I can add anything you like. The obits almost always have mistakes, even the burial records and other records. Not everything is in stone. I would love to know where the others are buried but haven't had much luck. Anytime you are ready to transfer the rest is fine. I know you have done a lot of work as well and I am thankful for that because some of your info has helped me greatly. :)
