"If you wish for a transfer,no problem. If they are not related to me, then I see no reason to keep them. All you have to do is ask."|
"I make Memorials in hopes of their family wanting them some day. I'm not into having the most Memorials!" (anon 3,219 memorials)
I am a retired soldier, railroad engineer, and fifth-generation Californian, trying to memorialize what I have found in people's stories, but mostly, trying to share the vast research done by my brother, Ken. Our most prominent ancestors are the McPherson's of Alexander Valley, California and the Lea's of the Clear Lake, California area.
I also am working on Abbott, Curry, Combs, Hixson, Leach, Robinson, Sierck, Topper, Vassar, and Zittleman. There is also currently a project to recover large numbers of neglected memorials in the Sonoma County, California region.
I am a Sons of the American Revolution society member, for those interested in that subject, and hold The Order of California from the State Adjutant General for my service.
The transfer policy of another that I believe is healthiest:
"I always try to check for duplicates before posting, but sometimes miss them.
"I will make corrections or I will gladly transfer ownership of any of your relatives memorials to you.
"As a matter of fact, if you know more about these folks than I do, don't be surprised to get a transfer.
"If a memorial is a direct ancestor of mine, we can work out some agreement."
Thanks to: (#XXXX2490) (47,000 memorials)

|Deb||RE: Roy Topper|
You are most welcome. Have you found the burial location of his brother? If not, I would be happy to search for him on ancestry.com

I am glad you found Roy! It warms my heart to see a memorial being placed with someone who cared about the person. Since I transferred the memorial to Gracie, she will have to be the one to transfer it to you. If that doesn't work for any reason, she can transfer him back to me, then I will transfer to you. Huge blessings, Deb

Not necessary to transfer back. My records go back to Laurence Leach in New York, possible connection?

There's no problem there. You have my curiosity up as to the location. I really think that Euchee Valley would be the closest to what you are looking for. Oh, and I think there was misleading information posted at an earlier time on other internet sites.
|Pammy In Oklahoma||RE: Mary Hayes in history|
Indian City may or may not have been in Payne county. I have read through the description of where it might have been and have at least one conclusion. Also, I am in the process of looking it up.
The description lists Indian City as being 6 miles East of Cushing. Well, Cushing is located on Highway 33 in Oklahoma. It runs East and West. Mehan, on the other hand is located back West a few miles, then North on Highway 108, and then back West another mile or so. It is in this that I don't think Indian City would have been located near Mehan.
Now, 6 miles or so East of Cushing would be Drumright or Silver City or even Oilton Oklahoma. Also, Mahlon Erickson describes Indian City to be in Indian Township which would include Euchee Valley (located somewhere near Cushing). I do know that there is a Euchee Valley Cemetery. To me, it would seem that Euchee Valley would be more towards the description of "6 miles East of Cushing"
The only map that I can find of Indian Township was made in 1907. There appears to be an "Indian Village" on the map, but the Topper Family had left by then and their name did not appear on the map.

You're welcome. There's no need to transfer her back to me. She's not a relative. When I fulfill a photo request I usually add memorials that I find are related to that person.

They're all yours!!
|Tom Brocher||RE: Madelyn Vadon|
If you'd like me to make any additions to the Find A Grave memorial for her husband, Victor, I'd be happy to do that as I have administrative privileges for this cemetery. Unfortunately those privileges do not allow me to transfer his memorial to you.
|Kaimom||RE: Robert and Rita Vassar|
You are most welcome. I found they in my wondering and posted them so family might be able to locate. I'm not related in anyway. So I'm happy to be able to connect you to them.
