RE: Richard Edward 'Rick' Eilert Karen, I'm friends with some of the Marines he served with at Con Thien during the siege. one of them I met when I was a 19-20 year old college student and have been friends with him since. Such things are a blessing to me as a man of Christ.
Roy Lamar Dyer and Viola Irene Kent Dyer Dear Karen, I just realized that I hadn't put my Aunt Viola on Find A Grave. When I went to do it, I found that you had created a memorial for her. So I went to to Uncle Roy's memorial, that I had created in 2009 and connected them. After that I discovered that you had created a memorial for him a couple of years later. Are you part of our Dyer family? (My mama was Roy's older sister and we were close with him and Aunt Viola). I'd like to respectfully ask if you'd be willing to delete your memorial for Uncle Roy and also transfer Aunt Viola's memorial to me? Cousin Dale posted on our private Dyer Descendants Facebook site that I had done Uncle Roy's memorial and had connected him with his parents, siblings, etc. If at any point Dale wants to take over the memorials for his parents, I would gladly transfer them to him. I appreciate the work you've done and hope you will consider my request. BTW, Aunt Viola was cremated and part of her ashes are buried at Dale's home. My husband, sister, bro-in-law and I were there for the ceremony.
Paul Callahan Hi Karen, I have added Paul Callahan to Resthaven. He was killed in the Lebanon Terrorist attack. Since I know you do alot of military men from Lorain, I wondered if you could find any other info on him
Hopkins / Mulberry Hi Karen, First of all thank you so much for all the work you have done! It is really such a help for long distance researchers :D I was wondering if you had any information about this, My 3x great grandfather is Peter Hopkins, he married Mary Mulberry in Bath Co. Ky, on April 27, 1817. I believe he was a brother to Francis Hopkins who married Cely Mulberry (parents of your Great Grandfather Harod Hopkins. I've just hit a dead end, I know that Peter came to Ohio, with some of his children, and that his youngest girls were living with Francis on the 1850 census, But I can not figure out what happened to Mary... Several people on ancestry have Mary and Cely as being the same person but one married Francis and one Married Peter so that didn't seem right... Anyhow if you have any info I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much, Michelle Rice
