Thank you so much for the information requesting the link to Edna. I thought it had been done. His wife, Edna was my cousin. Donna

Memorial # 143920702 Coy J Nave was the only entry at Pontiac Cemetery. Memorial #143696856 was entered at Burial:
Porter Chapel Cemetery
Missouri, USA. (was the original burial in Porter Chapel Cemetery?)
Thank you for alerting me of this duplicate. Just as you suggested (This memorial is a duplicate of memorial # 143696856 created by Silver Spark on March 14, 2015 and should be deleted.) Memorial # 143920702 will be deleted.

|Ellen Bishop||RE: I did delete|
I am not sure but you didn't tell me anything I didn't know i have been doing this a long time I know what the number means and I know I always look for a memorial, I sometimes even go to the cemetery to check for one that has been illegally made for a person who is not dead and it is my bet peeve that people do that, to try and make sure I do not make duplicates,, my biggest problem is spelling , mine or others and then when told I delete if mine is not first or if the other one is more complete, I am always reasonable.
If I find a duplicate, I tell people about it and say maybe you should consult with the other person theirs is better or was first but I never tell them to delete that is not my business, I am not the person who does that, I just tell them about the duplicate, if it is a duplicate of mine and mine was first I may tell them they might delete theirs, but if I am not a party to the duplication I don't tell any one to delete.
|Ellen Bishop||RE: I did delete|
I of course always always check I have been at this many years but it can take days get them up and so I don't see it so I make another one, but people who find duplicates to not need to tell anyone to delete something, tell them it is a duplicate and let them do the rest.
|Ellen Bishop||I did delete|
my duplication but you do realize I created mine one day after the other and it may not have been there when I did? YOu do not need to tell people what to do, you simply tell them of the duplication and they will do what is right, I know that is what I do.
When I add a recent death I always do a site-wide search to make sure there isn't a BU for the person that is not in the cemetery. (Of course, once the death is 30 days past, the BU no longer takes priority, so site-wide searches aren't necessary.) I must have missed this one while I was still on my first cup of coffee this morning. ;) Thanks for the heads up.
