Available to take cemetery photos in the Northern Virginia area. I have been doing genealogy since the early 1980's. My dad was from Connellsville, Pa. and my mom was from Clarksburg, West Virginia. Primary family names researched are Edmundson, (Edmondson), Hayden, Kennison, Whigham, Curry, McGee, McKee, Sinclair. Areas, focus in Pennsylvania: York, Chester, Pittsburgh, McKeesport, Connellsville, Haydentown, Uniontown, Port Vue, Elizabeth, Glassport, Fayette, Westmoreland, Allegheny. Family interests in Quakers and Mayflower descendants. The Edmundson family arrived in America about 1715, from England through Ireland. Personal interest in the Quaker, William Edmundson, founder of Quakerism in Ireland.|

Glad to be of assistance. Please feel free to use the photos in any way you see fit. It was a good day. Out of 22 requests, I was able to fulfill 18, with additional family members thrown in for good measure.

I took pictures of Andrew Hayden gravestone today. I saw you requested any other Haydens nearby - the only other Hayden was his wife Addie & I'll add it to her memorial.

|Louie Edmundson||RE: Quaker William Edmundson Event|
Dear Mr. Edmundson:
It was a pleasure to receive your message about the William Edmundson event. I had previously picked up some information about it on a web page but got few details from that. William is my 8X grandfather, though sad to say my branch of the family has long since left the Quakers and descended into Methodism out here in the wilds of Tennessee. I've read his journal and found it to be an astonishing, instructive document. How lukewarm we've become in our present age!(I speak for myself here).
I am too old and poor to be doing much traveling these days, but I am very much interested in the Celebration/Commemoration and will welcome any news relating to it which may be forthcoming in the days ahead.

|JGCemetery||Other Edmundsons at Bookside Cemetery|
I have three other Edmundson's in the Brookside Cemetery that I created:
If any of these three are part of your family just let me know and you shall have them.
There are a lot of Edmundson's there but the others are not mine. Also it could be that they are not part of your family. Don't know.
Thank you VERY much for the info. I posted your words on the memorial page. Check and see if I got it correct.
One minor question. The gravestone shows his birth date was Sept 24th vs Sept 25. Is it ok to leave it as the 24th to agree with the gravestone? If we change it I should enter some sort of explanation as to why the dates do not agree.
If this is a relative, would you like me to transfer it to you? Just let me know and you shall have it.
