Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am semi retired in Hutchinson. After using Find A Grave to add to my family tree, I enjoy taking pictures of family members to aid in other families. When I take a picture from a request, I will also take pictures of same names in the immediate area. If you are unhappy with the pictures, please notify me and I will take some more. I live relatively close to Memorial cemetery, so I try to make it there every other week. If I add any memorials that are related and you would like managing rights, please ask and I will transfer. I am given a current book for Memorial/Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. If you are looking for a person in this cemetery just leave a message and I will get back with you.

Thanks for Slavens/Smith photo
My mother-in-law was a Slavens and I worked on her branch of the family. Then I noticed that Medal of Honor Samuel Slavens wasn't linked to anyone, so started working on that more distant branch of the family, requesting links, suggesting details and biographies. Another person from the Slavens line doing genealogy wanted John Oscar to have surname Slavens on his Find A Grave page. To solve the name question, I put in a photo request, and you filled it so promptly. He is buried as Smith, so with your help I've done the best with the page that I could. The question no one can answer is why he chose to use the oh-so-common Smith surname instead of the honored name. Thanks again.

Joe and Joanne White photos
Thank you so much for taking the time to get the photos for joe and Joanne White. Joanne was a talented musician and she was very bubbly and vibrant. They had a wonderful family who we enjoyed spending time with back on the 1970s. I appreciate all your contributions to Find A Grave!
