I am James and I am retired U.S Navy (E7: CPO). I lost my youngest son when he was KIA (3-9-2010) in Afghanistan and I find that helping others find loved ones and ancestors through this effort to be very therapeutic. I am minister for a local congregation and will be happy to help you in this area and I will travel to work in cemeteries I can get to.|
When I do a requested photo I will take pictures of all surrounding markers, with the same last name, within a family plot or near the requested photo. I will send you their names and dates and if you want them posted I will do so if you make a memorial and request a photo. I also try to take accurate notes of the grave location if I cannot get the plot number so if you want that info let me know and I will send it to you via FAG message or email.
Any picture I take of a marker you may use for your own private use. If you want to publish it elsewhere or use it on another website please extend the courtesy of giving the photographer credit.
We do not clean the markers with any agents using only a soft brush to get off grass and dirt. We do this to avoid any upset family members or cemetery custodians. So if the marker is not clean enough for you then I am sorry. Often times I take pictures of markers in the area around a photo request of people with the same last name... because I am busy as a minister, volunteering at the local hospital, part time job with the local police department I do not have time to make long detailed searches for the information for these people... I ask if you want a lot of additional info added to the memorial I made please just ask for the memorial and I will transfer it to you so it may receive the information and time it deserves.
If I make a memorial for someone and they are your family member I will transfer management to you. Unlike others on here I will help you in that regard as I do not consider this work to be my own personal property. I do not have very strict guidelines for this transfer and do not limit transfer to only immediate family members.
I look forward to helping you as much as I can.
I have recently returned to my home state of Arkansas and will soon begin working on pictures in my area there.

'96 not '86...easy to misread. I caught it because she was 39 years old when she died and the year '86 would make her only 29...so I searched for the death certificate.
Thank you for all the work you do. It's a team effort.
Also, her husband, Hial Evans, married three times and we need to add the 2nd wife-Belle C., but haven't found her maiden name. Saphronia was first, then Belle C. around 1900, then third wife Mabel W. showed up in the 1920 & 1930 censuses as his spouse and she is buried with him.

Great, pray all goes all with you!
I have a request for help, if I may. You submitted a headstone photo on F.A.G. # 87414461, Jacob Winters. Is there any way you can provide me with the details of the inscription? Also any other details you may have would be great.
Another F.A.G. member is proposing that this memorial you created is actually for another person in a different county in W.V. My thoughts are that they are two different people, based on Census Records.

|Linda Harris||Thanks Preacher James!|
Thank you so much for taking that picture of my Great Aunt's headstone. She passed away long before I was born, but I've heard a lot about her and wanted to be able to see her headstone. My Grandmother lived in West Union, Doddridge County. I can find my way to her neck of the woods, but probably not to Aunt Oma's stomping ground. Thanks again for the photo. And thanks for all the other photos that you've added. I'm sure that it has meant a lot to other families as well.
Thank you so much
