|I've been doing genealogy for many years but have been really into it for the past few years after my retirement. With the internet and all the information at hand it is so much easier then when I first started. |
I appreciate so much, the efforts of all of the contributors to Find A Grave, I have been able to find so much information about family members.
I am more then happy to return the favor by taking pictures of gravesites for any of you with family members in the Los Angeles area.
My direct family lines are: King/Baldridge/Jenkins/Wilson/Qualls/Kingen/ Melvin as well as countless side lines. My parents are from Arkansas and Missouri.

Thank you for your suggestions on the Booth family memorials, which I accepted. Since you appear to have a connection to them I transferred their memorials to your care. If you don't want the memorials for any reason, feel free to transfer them back to me. Regards, Charlie

|Cheryl Bisson||RE: Eugene Lasater|
You're welcome! I also photographed all the Lasaters in the cemetery in case their might be a relationship. I'm sorry his wife is not buried with him since you were looking for her.

It was my pleasure. I am related to the Blansett's at Bly Cemetery. More than likely there is some sort of family connection. Glad I could help you. Jo Ann Wright.
|Patricia Franklin||Re: Ora Ann Walker|
Ora Ann Walker-Morton was my grandmother. I have a copy of her death certificate which reads "date of death Feb 13 1966". I don't know if SAA just wasn't updated until September of 66 or what, but she passed in February. How are you related to her? I would love help on my ancestry for her side of the family.

It is with the stones of Becky and Greely, my husband's great grandmother.
|Nancy Edwards||RE: Martha Abbott|
Everything I input for Vandalia was from a book a friend of mine obtained from the Porterville Cemetery District in 2003 or 2004. It's possible I made a typo error, but right now I don't have access to the book to be able to check it. I didn't add the photo, someone else added it later, and it does look like it ends in a 9. However, the notes I included were taken from the cemetery records, and it stated that she was 15 years old. So if her birth date is correct, the date from the records should also be correct. If I can locate the book to check it out, I will let you know. If you find any information that confirms any date, please let me know.
|Joanne||RE: Lourah Hamah Fine|
Missed this one....sorry.
The cemetery has Lourah's middle name as Hannah, not Hamah even though it is spelled Hamah on her grave stone. Hamah could be the the way Hannah was pronounced in the old way from Arkansas. She died nearly 100 years ago. It appears that the cemetery always has a manager that could spell. The California Death Record states Hamah.
In a few days I will send you the Fine Information that I have from 1934
Hold tight......I must get some canning done.
