I've been facinated by the stories cemeteries tell for a long time and have been researching my family history for over 20 years. I love taking pictures and I am happy to share any photos I have posted. If you are related, I'd love to hear from you to share "our" family. If you would like transfers from any memorials I might have added, please feel free to ask. I believe that the more we share the better we all benefit.|

I found Oscar in Section 10.
With him were:
Rossie B. Wilson 2/29/1880 - 12/12/1967
Lt. Murle A. Wilson 6/4/1923 - 9/2/1944
Carolyn Heady Wilson 10/8/1906 - blank.
William M. Scurry 6/20/1892 - 5/13/1963
Lucille Wilson Scurry 10/24/1904 - 8/18/1980
With the exception of Rossie, the others don't have memorial pages I don't think. Check me on that. Would you please make pages for them and send separate photo requests for each and one for Rossie? Thanks so much.

Any connection to the McGees from Franklin, Tenn?
My great great grandfather was Jesse Henry Frank McGee (went by Frank) 1857-1918.

Wonderful will be in touch next week.
Are you kin to Eudora and John M McGee? I'm on the McDaniel
Sure, here's how.
Go to the original memorial, and on the upper right section of the memorial, are two tabs, one says "Share", and one says "Edit". Click on the one that says "Edit".
It brings up the page where you can suggests changes in birth dates and locations, relationships and names. Select the one that says "Suggest any other correction or addition".
It brings up a blank message. In the message just tell her your relationship to the individual in the memorial, and ask her if she will kindly transfer it to you. Make sure you give her your memorial number because that will make it easier for her to transfer it.
Do this for both of the memorials you want transferred for your aunt and uncle.
If she is related and doesn't want to transfer, then just provide her with the information you want to add. There is an option on each memorial where you can add photos for portraits or graves or documents.
If you have any problems, feel free to contact me.

According to findagrave rules, I believe the way its supposed to work is one memorial per person. If someone else has created the memorial for your relative, you can give them the information you want to ask, and even ask them to transfer ownership to you.
Hope this helps!
Blessings for the New Year!

I'm I correct to say that John Pendergrass McGee served in the 40th Regt., Alabama (Condederate). This would match the Pension & Muster Rolls I've dug up. Dan (yes, would love if you sent me an Invite on your Ancestry tree)

also, was going to ask if you had a tree on Ancestry.com. Dan, Dallas, TX

I was curious to learn if you are related to the family of John P. & Martha MCGEE. I have been helping a friend to research John's brother, James Lowry McGee (1816-1895) and living in Texas had a chance to visit his stone house in Coryell County (just 4 miles from President Geo. Bush Crawford home). Dan Carrier, email@example.com
