Bio
I was born in Atlanta, raised, for the most part, in East Point, traveled the world with my Army officer husband, and now live in Newnan, Georgia. I have one daughter, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
I have researched my family for many years, wrote a genealogy column, "Finding Your Folks," for eight years, and now am retired from a 30-year career in the newspaper business.
My ancestry is English, Scottish, Irish and French, as far as I have researched.
Paternal surnames are Fowler, Blake, Owen(s), Dorman, Norris, Kennedy or Kanady, Johnson, Pepper(s), Whaley, Vickers, Young, Strickland, Rogers, Jones, Sessoms, McNeely, Fincher, Perry, Rawls, Edmunds, Tatum, Grisham, Hicks, etc.
