Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is not really Nick O'Brien, that's the name of one of my ancestors from the Irish branch of the family.

I have been working the past 4+ years to add info about relatives and in-laws where I can find them here, and to add new records, if possible, when I can't find them here.

If you're more closely related to one of my entries than I am, let me know!

RE: John P. Lowe
Sorry it took me so long but I think that I am just going to transfer the monument to you since I am no relative at all. Mike

John P. Lowe
Hi Nick I'm a bit unclear. Do you want me to drop the P. from his name because it is unofficial or add Porter as his middle name. He's not a relative of mine so I don't care either way! Mike

Bishop name

I noticed you have posted some pictures of some Bishop's on this site. I have found a small picture album like you would carry in your wallet. There are a few pictures in it and a ID card. The card has a Private Oliver R. Bishop listed on it. It also has his Army service number and SSN on it. I was able to track him down to a Oliver R Bishop who passed in Sunnyside, WA Feb, 13th 1971. And looking at other family members of his led me to you. I would like to return these pictures to and direct decendents of his a can find. Are you one? If not do you know of any?

Thanks. I've never had to do that before so don't know how. The person who manages several of my OR ancestors is extremely slow to reply and transfer.

I have located her mother, Milla A. Morgan (141426478. If you haven't been able to verify Horace Ruby as her father, would you please remove him. Lucinda is not her mother in any case. I've asked to have Margaret's memorial transfered to me with no response so far. Thanks, Lisa

RE: Civil War Veterans
Please do keep Charles Ruby memorial. I am not a relative. Thank you for giving me the information on John W. Ruby. I visited Stones River Battlefield this past June. What a difficult battle. 90% woods, cannons and rifle fire must have been hell for the boys. The Devil's Den was a slaughter field. You have to give credit to all who fought there. A bloody mess for both sides.
