|M. Aumen||RE: Bernard Aumen|
If I ever find out anything about their origins, I would love to let you know. Thank you for all of your help, too. I have yet to put in some of your website corrections, but hope to do some major work on there soon. There is an Aumen family reunion on 8/16 in Littlestown. I won't be able to attend and have never been to one before. It is held annually, my parents went once and from them I know that it includes all of Barnabas Aumen's branches as there were Murrens and Francis Aumen's family there. I don't know if you are on any mailing list ( I have no idea who heads it up) but there is more info is at the top of my Findagrave page. Take care, Matt

The birth year on the grave marker is different than the birth year on the memorial.

|Mr B||adding birth/death dates and places|
Rather than putting them into a photo request, it is important to send them to the manager of the memorial, via the Edit tab on the memorial itself. The Edit tab is on the upper right, and there is one edit that is specifically for birth/death dates and places. Be prepared to send documentation/sources via the "other comments and suggestions" edit choice. The tombstone photo should show the dates, but usually tombstones do not show places (sometimes they do).
A person who claims and takes a photo request is very seldom the manager of the memorial, and cannot make the edits you wish.

You're very welcome; glad it was helpful.

I am about to fulfil your request for a photo of the marker for S Stephen Smith (#120020056). Note the change of name, which I have edited along with the location of his plot. I have also uploaded the photo to his wife Catherine M, and I will write to Sally-Midcoast Maine to link the two.
According to the Woodlawn Website, Cpt Stephen died at Sailors Safe Harbor in New York, but I have found nothing on the web that would indicate where this is/was. Presumably it was a nursing home of some kind.

Hi Tracey, I asked Dennis Healy to remove the incorrect photo, and he did it already.
|Dan Phelan||RE: Francis Martin Aumen|
Francis Martin Aumen (Memorial# 115584057) is in plot TT-85 with 7 other graves that has one flat stone with only the name 'Landers' on it. The first photo is a close-up of the Landers marker. After you click on the text 'Click here to view all images..', you will see the second photo is a wide-angle shot with the Landers marker near the lower center of the photo. The third photo with the green grass is from the wrong area, and you should request that Dennis Healy remove that photo.
Last names in that grave include: Landers, Reilly, and Aumen.
I went into great detail at the office there to make sure that this is the correct plot by identifying the monuments on both sides of the plot. Hope this helps,

I have fulfilled your requests for Linda and John Kauderman. FYI, along with their markers are three additional markers the dates of which suggest that they are the children of Linda & John. They are
Ethel L. 1890
I have the pictures if you want them
