|Peter Morgan||Captain Stephen W Smith|
I am about to fulfil your request for a photo of the marker for S Stephen Smith (#120020056). Note the change of name, which I have edited along with the location of his plot. I have also uploaded the photo to his wife Catherine M, and I will write to Sally-Midcoast Maine to link the two.
According to the Woodlawn Website, Cpt Stephen died at Sailors Safe Harbor in New York, but I have found nothing on the web that would indicate where this is/was. Presumably it was a nursing home of some kind.

Hi Tracey, I asked Dennis Healy to remove the incorrect photo, and he did it already.
|Dan Phelan||RE: Francis Martin Aumen|
Francis Martin Aumen (Memorial# 115584057) is in plot TT-85 with 7 other graves that has one flat stone with only the name 'Landers' on it. The first photo is a close-up of the Landers marker. After you click on the text 'Click here to view all images..', you will see the second photo is a wide-angle shot with the Landers marker near the lower center of the photo. The third photo with the green grass is from the wrong area, and you should request that Dennis Healy remove that photo.
Last names in that grave include: Landers, Reilly, and Aumen.
I went into great detail at the office there to make sure that this is the correct plot by identifying the monuments on both sides of the plot. Hope this helps,

I have fulfilled your requests for Linda and John Kauderman. FYI, along with their markers are three additional markers the dates of which suggest that they are the children of Linda & John. They are
Ethel L. 1890
I have the pictures if you want them

|Peter Morgan||Greenlaws in Woodlawn|
I am about to fulfill your request for a photo of the marker of Alphonso Greenlaw. In the same plot are Katie A Smith (his wife) and children
Philip, Alvina (not Elvina), Dana Steven, & his wife Hilda Burkhard. I took photos of all markers as well as a group shot, and one of the markers of Alphonso and Katie. Let me know if you will be requesting photos of the other markers and I will claim them and upload them immediately.
|Peter Morgan||Greenlaws in Woodlawn|
In looking up Alphonso Greenlaw at the Woodlawn Cemetery website, I discovered that there are 5 more Greenlaws buried in the same lot. They are Kate A Smith; Philip B; Elvina D; Dana S, and Hilda B. All but Elvina have memorials created on findagrave.com
If you wish to add photo requests for them, let me know an I will claim them. I plan to take photos of their markers at any rate.
Elvina D died at home on1/12/1997.

I did some research on this. The lot 76 that you mention is Section N , Lot 76. This was bought by a Jacob Bates. There is a problem, however. There is no Jacob Bates, 1830 - 1880 buried in this lot. In fact the cemetery burial index does not show that particular Jacob Bates anywhere in the cemetery. Of course the cemetery index does have some errors here and there.
As I read the actual burial record for N-76 here are the persons in there:
Jacob Bates, child, died 6/15/1877, Gr. 4.
Sarah Willingmeyer, 51, died 12/3/1877, Gr. 1.
John Bates, 19, died 3/10/1885, Gr. 3.
Harry W. Bates, 34, died 5/6/1896, Gr. 3.
Howard Donhay, 30, died 7/29/1898, Gr. 4.
Jacob Bates, 1845 - 1917
Elizabeth Bates, 1848 - 1924
The only stone on this lot that we could find was for the last two, Jacob & Elizabeth. The picture was already posted some time ago on their pages. If you have some more info to support Jacob 1830-1880, let's see it and maybe we can figure this out. Regards - JohnF

Then I guess Kathy Geist knows more about the cemetery and who is buried there than the people working there know. Maybe she also knows how someone could be buried in a cemetery 24 years before it existed, according to that cemetery's own website. Maybe the cemetery's own website AND the staff working there are all wrong.
Maybe you should be asking kathy Geist where she got her information. I've been waiting for over a year for her answer, maybe you'll have better luck than I did.
