Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello! I have been working on my family genealogy/history for a number of years (!!) and would like to thank all those who have made contributions to Find A Grave....I finally got around to making contributions, at first involving mostly my 'immediate' family (450 memorials by now), but now mostly non-family.

Paternal ancestor surnames include: Wesley, Taylor, Randolph, Wilson, Huff, Craig, Smiley, Higgins, Pierce, Simpson, Goodall, Campbell, Carson, Downing, Minor, Ford, Aiken, Hampton, Amend, McMillan, McCollum, Trumbo, Custer, Brown, Sutherland & Hale.
Maternal ancestor names include: Garden, Spreng, Baird, Coble, Horner, Merckle, Young, Stoner, Matthews, Barrett, Clark, Holsworth, Witten, Brandenberry, Knosp, Faber & Wells.

Ancestry includes English, Scottish, Irish, French-Speaking Germans and German-Speaking Germans.

The current Findagrave project on which I have been heavily involved, with other contributors, is to create a complete listing of the burials of the Stafford (Kansas) Cemetery. Most of the names are established already. Now we are making links and adding marker photos and obituaries/biographies to the memorials. Making excellent progress.....!!

I'm sorry to be delayed in answering your edits and corrections....I had bypass heart surgery recently and so I am on the mend from that....

RE: Hine Simpson, 1861-1923
Your Hine Simpson was the son of George and Ann Simpson..As far as I know they have no memorials since none of us have been able to find where they died and were buried..We are still trying to find out..Your Hine's full name is Joseph Hine..Some where along the way he dropped his first name. Your Hine's son Hine, was my father in law and I am the creator his memorial..To make it even more confusing there is another Hine Simpson who is the nephew of my Hine Simpson and my Husband named his first born Hine SimpsonIII..If you are related to any of them I will be glad to share what little information I have on the family...Thanks for your quick reply!

I am requesting permission to attach your photo this lady's tombstone (as well as her husband) to my husband's family tree. If you do not want me to do so, no worries!
Thank you,

Hi, I just saw Barbara today as I made a day trip to Stafford. I left just before 7 and returned just after 7. I found my grandparents' marriage record at the courthouse, as well as my great grandfather's will and probate record which was not the purpose of the trip. I'm happy to hear that you are recovering in a satisfactory manner. I stopped by the museum library just long enough to say hi. We checked this year's miserable wheat crop--the main reason for the journey. Thanks for the update.

orlie wayne dykes
I apologize. I guess he was named after his uncle I called my uncle and he asked his brother, Jim, who is this Wayne's son. So question is answered.

orlie wayne dykes
I keep seeing Orlie Dykes with Wayne Dykes information. There was an Orlie Wayne Dykes born in 1900 whose mother was Rebecca and married to a Mary. He even has a WWI draft card with his information. This Wayne Dykes was the son of George and Bertha Dykes who first married Winifred Lenagar then Sadie. The Orlie Wayne Dykes I think he is confused with was born in 1900 and died 1974. Please confirm if this is truly Orlie Wayne Dykes or simply Wayne Dykes with kids Donna and Jimmy from first wife.

Thank you
