Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family history has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started taking pictures of headstones before we had the luxury of digital cameras---oh my, I am dating myself!!
As I have explored and stomped cemeteries, now with my digital camera, I am working to refine some initial photos. While stomping for family headstones, I have taken pictures of names that have been seen in my genealogy database. In many cases, I have made contact with distant relatives and always enjoy hearing from them.

I am quite happy to share the headstone pictures I have taken. Please feel free to use them at your disgression, as they are there for all to follow the links of their roots. HOWEVER--other photos I have added may not be used or copied without specific approval by the!

Updates to DOD in St. Hyacinth
Hi Kathy!

I've had some down time to catch up on my genealogy work and was adding some of the photos I took a couple years ago at St. Hyacinth. In doing so, I noticed a few people had passed since their memorial was created so I listed the ones I noticed below - if I get time I might try to go out to see if there have been any more recent deaths. If I find anymore, I'll let you know:

Find A Grave Memorial# 64390046 - Florence Sekula
date of death: May 17 2012.

Find A Grave Memorial# 64174484 - Edward Heiser
date of death: Jan 5, 2012

Thanks so much for all your work in the cemetery!

Harmon NISLEY family
Any chance you are related? My 3X Great Grandparents (Joseph Nisley family) came to Knox County, Illinois from Guilford, Franklin, PA where Harmon and Joseph Nisley lived in the 1830 & 1840 census, along with other relatives of mine (Schwartz, Lightner, etc) I think Joseph and Harmon must be brothers, do you have any insight? Thank you

RE: Boyd headstones #71201066
I also did Francis and Isabelle Boyd Arnold. They were all buried in a row. Glad I could find them!

RE: Vittoria/Victoria Chiavario #128169021
Thank you Kathy! I appreciate your good work with F/A/G; your contributions have been very helpful to me as I have researched my family tree. It took me several days to find the marriage certificate I have for Vittoria Bosone and Giacomo Chiavario, but I did locate it today, scanned the certificate, and added it to both memorials. Vittoria signed her maiden name Bosone on that document, a surname found in the area of the Italian Piedmont known as the Canavese. Kind regards, Carol

Kathy, thank you for your edits. I have added the name Victoria to her memorial. Please tell me your source for her maiden name. I have other documents that identify her maiden name as Bosone, a cousin of my 2x great grandmother. Kind regards, Carol
