Cemetery Notes:
IF YOU HAVE A REQUEST FOR A PHOTO AND KNOW THE LOCATION OF THE GRAVE AND CEMETERY IT WOULD BE MUCH FASTER. THE LARGER CEMETERIES DO WHAT THEY CAN TO DISCOURAGE GIVING THE LOCATION SINCE THEY HAVE TO PHYSICALLY PULL IT UP. FAMILY MEMBERS TO MAKE THE REQUEST FOR LOCATION MIGHT BE GIVEN FASTER.

Katy Magnolia Cemetery: This cemetery has no location markers. Once given the request I can call the funeral home that has the information and they are very nice in giving it to me. I could then take the photo requests.

03/04/13
Memorial Oaks Cemetery: Harris County/Houston,TX: Location markers are there, no list on location of interments. The Memorial Oaks Funeral home (who run the cemetery) are less than pleased to give locations. The names and locations have to be pulled up by hand. I have made contact with a Family Service Counselor and made arrangement to submit 4 names a month. If you request from this cemetery please give it time. I'll get to the requests sent to me as soon as I can.

Forest Park Westhiemer Cemetery works the same way as Memorial Oaks. I have not been in contact with anyone yet, but I'll see what I can do to make the same arrangements.

My Life:
_____________________________________________

05/27/12: Life has taken me once again to a new location. Houston, TX. Again, request for Bishop, CA or Las Vegas, NV could be arranged through me if there is no other alternative. I could at sometime also arrange for Amarillo,Tx.

07/03/11: I apologize for just now getting to this. I have recently moved from the Bishop, CA area to Las Vegas, NV. I can however still do requests for the that area, they will not be very prompt and will only be taken when I visit since I do still have family there. I have been trying to find someone of interest to do this for me but with no luck thus far. If you need a photo taken there please be patient since I'm not sure when I will visit again.
Thanks you!

I have always had an interest in History, but just started really digging into my family history a few years ago. I love doing this and it's given me a different perspective on who I am and where I came from. I think I'm really just getting started and I'll never be able to stop.
