Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my families for over 30 years. Currently, I'm trying to scan & share a large collection of old family photographs and documents that have come to me from various relatives, mostly my late grandmother.

As I scan & prepare the photographs, I'm trying to post as many as possible to findagrave for others to enjoy. Especially the very old ones. Some that are labeled are not of known family connections so I'm also researching the names in an attempt to identify them.

One that I am very proud of is Jesse Elton McEwen, buried at Palms Woodland Cemetery, Miami-Dade Co FL. It took a fair amount of research to figure out that he is probably not related, but simply a neighbor of an ancestor in Carroll Co GA. I've created a memorial for him with the information I collected. Please visit his site and show him some love.

Another memorial that I'm very proud of is for my ancestor, William Francis Marion Nobles, who died as a prisoner of war at Camp Douglas IL. His final resting place is Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, Cook Co IL. Please visit him also.

I hope you enjoy visiting my paternal great grandfather, Hilborn Whit Hulsey. My maternal grandfather, Rev Virgil Sizemore, preached his funeral before there was a family connection. My parents were only 10 years old and I don't think they met until a few years later. If you know any of the people mentioned that aren't linked, please let me know.

Surnames I'm connected to include: Adair, Ashworth, Barnett, Beam, Black, Burks, Cates, Clore, Crow, Dickson, Dunson, Estes, Gilbert, Hendrix, Hulsey, Leathers, Lowe, Lyle, McBrayer, McGlathery, Meadors, Mobley, Mote/Motte, Nobles, Pate, Parr, Pinson, Reid, Sanders, Simonton, Sizemore, Stanford, Steele, Stephens, Tomme, Vining, Waldrop, Williams, and others.

Places I'm particularly connected to include: Laurens Co SC, Henry & Clayton Co GA, Carroll & Haralson Co GA, and Blount & Cullman Co AL.

I don't mind! You just "bother" me all you want to. That's why I volunteer for F A G.
If I have any postings that you would like for me to transfer, just let me know.

Hi Debbie

Thanks so much for your note. We are hoping to be back home by February, but with materials so hard to find we try to not say a date.

Like you wrote,we also lost just about everything and starting out after 50 years of marriage like newly weds is an unusual experience to say the least. Who would have guessed that over 40,000 homes would flood in a fifty square mile area.

Can't wait to get home and back on my computer, which at the present is packed away with what we were able to save.

Take Care
Joyce /Amby

RE: Edmon Hazel Sizemore
I am only related very distantly through marriage way down the line!!! Really it is more on his wife Viola McGRIFF's line. Viola's mother is Lissie Ann EASTERWOOD. Lissie's sister is Celia V. EASTERWOOD. She married Herman M. PLUNKETT. It is more through this PLUNKETT line where my relation connects but still far fetched! Now aren't you sorry you asked? I just like to follow all lines in my database so that is why I was working on Edmon Hazel SIZEMORE. I had gotten Lissie A. EASTERWOOD's death certificate just recently so was looking to add to the info I was missing on her family!

Take care,

Heartbroken Daddy's Girl
burial unknown
many memorials are placed on Find A Grave when posted at a funeral home as unknown until the obit is posted and the location of burial is then known. The obit has been posted and the info is know.

Therefore, according to findagrave rules, yours is a duplicate and needs to be removed. You would then need to request a transfer.
