I've been working on my family tree for many years and still get amazed at the history I learn from it. I've had a lot of help along the way with my own research, and by taking pictures for find-a-grave requests is my way of giving back.
If you come across one of my pictures of a friend or family member, you may use it for your own personal use. I will transfer memorials as long as the request fits the Find A Grave guidelines. I do not transfer memorials that are related to me.
Gladys Black You have the wrong Gladys Black. Our Gladys Black ,#38410456, is the child of Thomas J. Black, and Urilda E.(Shearer)Black. She only lived for 1 year, so she has always been referred to in our family as ' Baby Gladys'.
Find A Grave Memorial# 118305285 Augusta Cunningham Aiken Hi Joyce, I forgot about the "edit" feature. I know her gravestone says 1918, but the funeral record is clear that her death date is Sept. 30, 1920. Shows up there on the CA Death Index as well. Anyway, Thank you so much for making the changes to the website. Mary Fox, Oregon
Find A Grave Memorial# 118305285 Augusta Cunningham Aiken May I please request a correction to the record? I have the funeral home record from Augusta's death and can send you a copy of the jpeg image if you will provide me with an email address. She was born 8 Dec 1856 Maine and died 30 Sept 1920 in San Francisco, CA.
Andrew Glenn Aiken is her husband, not a parent. They were married 25 May 1879 in Coos Co., Oregon. Orville Dodge's history miss-typed the year.
Children are: Charles Glenn born May 1880, Alice, Florence & James. Charles is listed on 1880 census, and only Charles & Alice on 1900 census with parents.
I'm working on this line for Daughters of the American Revolution lineage society - so have been verifying data.
