RE: Lizzie Barker Turner Young
It may work to go through Robert Turner and delete the "Lizzie Barker" that died in 1907.
Is there a stone there for someone named Lizzie Barker? Or is it for a Lizzie Turner, which would likely be Lizzie and Robert's deceased child. Seems to me that anyone named Lizzie Barker would have to be part of the Barker family there in that county. Hall Cemetery is just loaded with Barkers. Apparently, Lizzie (the Oklahoma Lizzie) was one of 14 children. She is the grandmother of my ex-husband and so I have very limited knowledge of her family. Apparently, you are a descendant (If I understand correctly) of Lizzie's older sister Mary Caroline, who was one of the three children of Henry Barker's first wife Nancy J Dodson Barker. Lizzie was the child of Matilda Mest Barker and Henry. All this I found in the Barker Family Bible. I've posted scans of the pages on Ancestry if you use that site. If not, I can send you the scans. Just let me know.
Thank you for your help.

Lizzie Barker Turner Young
I'm confused by the grave listed in Hall Cemetery as Lizzie Barker Turner, passing in 1907. The Lizzie Barker Turner who was married to R H Turner (died at age 30 of typhoid fever) is buried in Stilwell, Oklahoma

Is there another Lizzie Barker who is buried in Hall Cemetery?
I know the Lizzie in Stilwell is the correct one because I met her and her daughter Hazel. It was Hazel who gave the Barker family Bible to our oldest son West Short.
Could you help clear up the mystery?
Thank you,
Dianne Short

I have connected Emma to her parents. Thanks so much. I didn't know her, but I remember seeing her out eating by herself in the evenings a few times in the 1980s at Golden Corral.
