RE: Gertrude Kuemin Photo Hi Kathy, The photo came from Jim Kuemin who related to Casimir Francis Kuemin (his grandfather). He had shared it with me because I'm related Louise Matilda Kuemin (my great-grandmother), so I could add the photo to my family tree.
Wilhelmina's name is not currently in Owen Cemetery records. There are only 1 1/2 Lots with Lutzke Family members in Owen Cemetery at this time. The first was owned by "Lutzke". There is only one tall marker on the Lot. It lists the 3 family members buried in the plot (per cemetery records.)It has Fredrick Christian (Wilhelmina's husband), F B and Pauline Lutzke. (August C and Anna's children) Wilhelmina died after all of them. She may be buried in the Lot and it's not recorded either in the cemetery records...OR on the marker. The cemetery is having burials investigated in an attempt to update records. As I said previously, the cemetery was privately owned by the Owen Family for years, someone else/several others? maintained it until it reverted to Thomas Township, so records are not complete, but we are working to correct that. Wilhelmina was not entered into Owen Cemetery records previously. If you had not provided the copy of the death certificate, we would not have known she was there...with a copy of the death certificate showing that she is buried there, I'm confident that she will be entered when all of the work in progress is finished. The 2nd Lot with a Lutzke in it, is 1/2 of a lot owned by William Lutzke's wife. William is buried in that lot. He is the only Lutzke buried in that lot currently. August C Lutzke is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, which is owned by the City of Saginaw. Their records are online (though there are some errors in their records also) but the City of Saginaw records show no burial for Wilhelmina (OR Minnie OR Mina....common nicknames for Wilhelmina) in any of the 3 city cemeteries. Thank you again for the information! Janet
Jacob Nowicki Hi, I have found where Jacob Nowicki is buried at? He is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Lorain, Ohio. He is buried by his wife and son, but no headstone for him. Section 7; Lot 225, Grave 3. I have posted several other Nowicki. I do not know if they are related or not.
