I am fortunate that my grandmother and my mother collected a great amount of information about our ancestors, on both sides of the family. My grandmother’s Family Album contains photos that go back 175 years.

I feel that it is my happy responsibility to record as much of this treasure trove as possible onto FindaGrave, so that it can be saved for our children, grandchildren, and beyond. I am grateful that FindaGrave makes this possible. I think that my grandmother and my mother would be astonished and truly pleased to know that this is being done.

I also am grateful for the many other FindaGrave Contributors – many of whom are unrelated to us -- who have added photos and information about our family. A big Thank You to all of you!

Upon my death, I authorize any of my memorial pages to be transferred to any FindaGrave Contributor who requests them – with the proviso that any given page be assigned to the person most closely related to the individual memorialized. But a memorial page could be assigned to an unrelated person who might want to take responsibility, until such time as a relative should request it.
