I live in Dalton GA with my family and have been an avid genealogists for over 25 years. Semper Fi to all my Fellow Marines out there !!! (1979 to 1991)|
If I have entered a family member of yours and you would like to manage the site, please let me know and I will be happy to transfer it to you. I will transfer ANY of your relatives to you - Aunts, Uncles, Distant Cousins, Etc... If you are requesting a transfer, please use the "Suggest A Correction Form" on the Memorial Page you want transferred. I will transfer any memorial that I am not related to. Please if you have correction or you want a transfer YOU HAVE TO USE THESE STEPS - Go to the memorial - TOP RIGHT - EDIT - ADD A SUGGESTION - add information you want added or link to spouse and parents - you have to list the memorial numbers to link.
If I have entered anything incorrectly, please let me know.
My pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. I take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for my ego or for the "numbers."
PET PEEVE: Find A Grave "number" collectors who have no interest in genealogy or family links and refuse to transfer to relatives unless they meet so-called "findagrave guidelines". Shame on you! and... what's up with these "photo copy rights" - you got to be kidding me !!! Why put a photo out on the Internet and then say you have to ask permission. Really....
I started creating a Virtual Cemetery for my fellow Marines and then I came across Pam's "The Marine Corps Project" and WOW – she has been working on hers for a long time. Marine Corps history can be told here, even from the ones that can no longer tell their own stories.
Semper Fi !!!
Another contributor that has a lot of virtual cemeteries for fellow Marines. " Marine Corps – Semper Fi.

Hello my name is Cary Hawkins. Wanda was my mother and my wife and i started a search for her with no luck. I just wanted to say thank you so very much as you seem to be the only one out there that seems to care enough to help keep my mothers memory alive.I lost her at the age of 15 and I will be 42 next month and I still have not quite came to terms with it.I have only been to the site 4 times with 3 of those having to be carried off,and 1 time walked away smiling thanks to the love of my life now my wife Misty who by the way my mother smiled at me through her eyes.So I am very grateful to my wonderful wife and to you for helping me with getting through this as Im now trying to face it.
Thank you so very much.

I have a map of Beverly Hills Cemetery and I will be making a trip there in a couple of weeks. If you would contact the office at 304-983-2236 and get the location (each section has a name) and the plot number, I will be happy to photograph it for you. Just e-mail me the info. Please verify with them there is a stone to photograph. Glad to help.
