I've been interested in genealogy since I was 15 and learned some family history from one of my paternal grandfather's elderly cousins. I became more active over the past 10+ years, first researching my dad's side (Barr, Lyons, Dye, Anderson, Shepard, Haupt, et al., in Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio) and then "branching out" to my mother's side (Coleman, Gosnell, Stockman, Baker, mainly in Baltimore, MD). I've also done some research on my husband's family (Quinby, Doan, Kendrick, Fogarty, in New York and New Jersey).
