I am of the Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Stockett line. I am descended from Captain Thomas Stockett who emigrated from England to America about 1658. I am trying to find grave sites of my line of Stocketts. |
I also am trying to trace the Stockett family branches that left Maryland and settled in Pennsylvania, Montana, California, Texas, Tennessee, Mississippi and more.

My information is from the cemetery records. You are correct, the middle name is Campfield. According to the records, his wife is not buried with him (or she has no marker). He is next to MAry Kneedler and Dwight Hazelton

Wonderful! Was so ashamed of Mr. Stockett's marker photo that I went back down there today to get a better one. Worked out well, because I was there at the right time, and with a good brush, to get a decent photo of his wife's marker, which wasn't the case yesterday. Will upload the lot of them, with improvements. Looking forward to seeing the portrait! --Harriet

Lois, just FYI, Mr. Stockett is buried adjacent to Elvira Pearre Stockett (1906-1928), who does not yet have a memorial. The two of them are buried by one of the Hulme families. --Harriet

Please ask Donita for permission. There is a link to her F-A-G page in the photo's caption. She is the actual photographer. If you can't find it please let me know.

Consider it yours & use it as documentation in your tree. I can relate to that.
