Bio Photo If there are memorials you would like transferred that are not my direct ancestors, just let me know and I will transfer them over to you.
If there are mistakes on the memorials that I have added, some are due to getting the information off the headstone, others just human error. Many of the headstones are in bad shape.
If you notice mistakes please let me know and I will gladly make the corrections.
Please put in a photo request for any photos you would like. The reason I ask for the request is in 2010 I added a photo without a request and I received a very nasty email from someone.
If you email me through the Hotmail address below, always use Find a Grave with a name or cemetery in the subject matter, otherwise it goes into the junk mail and I don't even see it, Thanks.

RE: Almeda Olmstead/Sinclairville
Thanks Ron for transferring her site to me. Later last night I found her probate date of 1894, still haven't found a definitive date of death.

Elizabeth McBride
Almeda Olmstead/Sinclairville
Hi Ron,

If Almeda isn't a direct ancestor I would be glad to take over management. She is my 2nd great grandmother.

Her death is listed as 1880, however she is alive in the 1892 state census, living with her daughter Lydia Hunt.

Thank you for providing the photos.

RE: Forgot to say...
As hard as it is to research a lot of things from New York state, it has been more than optimal finding Winsor (and other) family plots and gravesites in Chenango County and now in Chautauqua. I'm just amazed. IT's SO true how the fire thing goes. Have encountered it A LOT personally. What foresight that is to keep separate sets of records. Besides fire, other areas of the nation face floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes, wildfires, etc. So it's just good practice, huh?

Thanks so much for doing all you do!

RE: Forgot to say...
Thank goodness somebody had entered the plot numbers on these ladies. The family plot stone might have disappeared, been destroyed/weathered away, and not ever replaced. The Winsor relatives buried there have fairly nice stones but they are weathered away enough to be unreadable in a photo.

It appears somebody must have had the funeral home ledger or cemetery records when they added the names, dates and plot numbers. It's the plot numbers that are so hard to search out.

Thanks so MUCH! If I do find more to request in the cemetery, please don't feel like I'm taking advantage. You don't have to fill any more requests. I just wasn't done exploring the cemetery yet, and there are a lot of Shepards, Winsors, Stewarts, Eddys, etc.

Oh So Many!
I almost couldn't believe my eyes this morning! Last night I requested help and boom you had it up here. This is a very important bit of Winsor family history and we are so grateful!
