REGARDING PHOTO REQUESTS:
I have started checking online cemetery indexes before making a trip to the cemetery because I've spent a lot of time searching for stones that never existed or were long ago reported as missing by someone else.

While I genuinely love filling your photo requests its frustrating when I spend all day searching and don't manage to come back with a single photo.

Cemeteries on private property require the land owners permission. Provide me the name of the land owner in the photo request and I will do my best to contact them and request access. I don't have enough time to track down the land owners for you.

I am researching the following families from the Hamilton and Wayne County Illinois area that are my direct lines:

Smith/Perry
Griffith/Thompson

I am also researching Benshoof which is a branch of my family and Sallee which is my stepfather's family.
