My virtual cemeteries list my ancestral lines, the numbers indicate which generation back from me. With only a few exceptions in each line, over 80% of my relatives are tied to Georgia since the late 1700s. Although I was born in Georgia, I've lived there less than 5 years total over my lifetime. Dad was in the Army, I was in the Navy, and I continued wandering after that; so far - 46 states & 20 countries.|
I'd love to hear from anyone researching the same lines. We may be "distant" cousins!
I use transcriptions and spreadsheets to enter some memorials. If you find an error, have more info to add, or would like a transfer please contact me via the "suggest a correction" feature. I am happy to transfer any memorial I'm not related to or even those I am related to if they are closer to you than to me.
I've been into photography ever since taking pictures for my high school year book. In addition to posting plenty of pictures related to my family, I'll try to fill as many photo requests as I can.
PHOTO COPYRIGHT – I hereby grant permission for download of my pictures for PERSONAL USE only (i.e if you find a picture I posted that is related to your family tree, you can download it and use it). This includes uploading it to YOUR tree on Ancestry.com, Rootsweb.com, or similar web site. If you could leave me a message saying that you downloaded it, I'd appreciate just knowing someone found one useful.
Any commercial use will still require specific, individual permission from me (i.e. publishing it on a web page other than in YOUR family tree, publishing it in a book, or anywhere else people outside of your family will use it or pay for it).

I think I'm related to his parents by whom I assume was his granddaughter -- Margaret "Peggy" (Bell) Buffington, daughter of Eleanor (McElhannon) Bell -- but lack proof that Eleanor was her mother. Thanks for adding the parent link. ~~Carol

I added another obit for Geo. Wash. Entrekin, in Biloxi Cemetery, [a more detailed one], and I have another one for his brother W.J. Entrekin in Waynesboro Cemetery, Wayne Co MS. I haven't added it yet.

Hi Wally! I know your not in the Badger Cemetery area anymore , but wondering if you have connections there. My photo request has been posted for so long... I think it has spider webs growing on it... can you help contact someone in the area?
Thanks Dani Cash
Ohhh! Thank you! Would love to look to see what you have on James (my 2nd great uncle). My paternal grandmother was a Mounce -- Elizabeth Fessenden (Mounce) Walker. :)
Hi Wally :)
You made a memorial page for James Robert Mounce and his wife Aldora Georgia Sills and it says they are buried in Sweetwater Cemetery, McDuffie County, Georgia. I had put in a request for photos of these two and the volunteer wrote me and said they walked the cemetery twice and found no Mounce graves at all :( Do you know where they are or where you found info saying they are there?

Thanks for the transfers.
|Patricia Stilwell Jones||RE: Paulina B. Anson Hicks|
Thanks for the offer. I am related to the Ansons by marriage. Also would be interested in you transferring any other memorials you have in either the Simons or Lamb cemeteries in Tobinsport, I ndiana. I am from there and have just recently recorded all graves in the Simons cemetery that haven't already been entered in Find A Grave and now am working on making the family connections. Another local woman, Christine Lawaline is recording the Lamb cemetery, so transfers of any of those memorials would be appreciated. We have both been working hard to get everyone in our two cemeteries recorded and their monuments photographed. With that done we are now going back through records an making the family connections. It would make things easier if we were able to make the edits ourselves
Thank you in advance for any transfers you make to either myself or Christine.

Thank you so much, Wally. I sure couldn't ask for any quicker service than that! I'm always happy to share what I have, also.
