Specializing in the German pioneer families of Lake County, Indiana, I've created an ongoing database of over 87,000 entries, most of which involve those mid-19th century immigrants to that area and their descendants. Recently I've seen my research expanding into nearby Porter and La Porte Counties, but I've long had many links to neighboring Illinois counties as well. I am listed in L.D.S. Family History Center catalog and write a series of columns for the Northwest Indiana Gen. Socy. newsletter, "Twigs." Tracing those families has given me wide experience throughout the U.S. and the Saarland, Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz and many other German states.
