Bio

Time has made me more interested in having a good record of various relatives. I pay close attention to infant children whenever I find a section as we have been trying to locate a gravesite of my mother's oldest brother who died in infancy in the Yonkers, New York area - Last name would be Doyle. I also pay attention to the infant cemeteries because sometimes they need some tlc hence I carry an assortment of small gardening toos with me. Because of my father, a deceased retired Marine, I also pay attention to the flat military memorial because they are often overgrown.
Leave me a message or to e-mail me. Note that I will only fulfill photo requests submitted directly through findagrave as of May 19, 2011. I take photos as time will allow. I work full time and use my lunch hour to upload the photos. I live in the central New Jersey area but I travel into Monmouth County (Freehold and the Belmar/SpringLake/Manasquan area)as well as parts of Ocean and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey. I have also been traveling in to the Westchester/Rockland County areas in New York and parts of Connecticut.

One last comment: SO MANY CEMETERIES ARE IN NEED OF TLC WITHOUT ENOUGH HANDS TO MAINTAIN EVERY SINGLE GRAVESITE AND FLAT MEMORIALS ARE SINKING AND/OR BEING COVERED WITH CRAB GRASS OR OTHER GROUND COVER. IF YOU HAVE A FEW MINUTES OF EXTRA TIME WHEN VISITING ANY CEMETERY FOR WHATEVER REASON OR IF YOU KNOW A BOY OR GIRL SCOUT, BAR OR BAT MITZVAH OR ANYONE IN NEED OF COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS OR A SERVICE PROJECT, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF SOME OF THE FLAT MEMORIALS WHETHER THEY ARE MILITARY MARKERS OR NOT, EVEN IF IT'S JUST TRIMMING THE WEEDS AROUND THEM. SO MANY CHILDREN ARE AFRAID OF CEMETERIES AND THEY SHOULDN'T BE. TAKE YOUR CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN WITH YOU ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A "HOME" CEMETERY. THIS WAY THEY WILL KNOW WHERE FAMILY MONUMENTS ARE LOCATED WHEN WE ARE NO LONGER HERE.
Thanks so much!
