RE: Nora Dozier Thank you so much for letting me know, and I'm glad that my thoughts were correct. I am glad to be a part of more accuracy in anyone's history. I appreciate your considering my ideas ... and really enjoyed reading about the family. They were quite the family ... indeed ... and I loved the family portrait on the first page. One doesn't see a grand family portrait like that often from that era. Take care, and God bless. Thanks again for letting me know.
RE: Nora FoyI Thank you so much! I will look into the Foys. Their obituaries were fascinating, and I know that I'd enjoy reading more about them. Do let me know about the "birth mother" situation. I'm really interested. As I said, in my mother's obit, it never mentioned her birth mother, although she was well aware of who she was. She had died, when my mother was two, so the only mother she really knew was her stepmother ... and considered her "Mother". I linked her birth mom with the edit tab for parents - and then put a link in her bio WITH a story about how "my grandmother", who was actually my stepgrandmother had raised her. So, I know that "things aren't always what they seem", and when looking at her birth date ... and the date of death for her dad's first wife ... I figured that the first wife had to be the mom. The names are WAY confusing for both, aren't they? What would be the chances of marrying 2 Sarahs ... with the same last names? LOL Thank you for letting me know and for your response. God bless!
