John & Ellen (Cozad) Davis
Hi! I take care of cemetery in De Soto, Kansas and have another pic of the Davis house with John & Ellen in front of it. The house here in De Soto still stands and could share current pics if you'd like. Also, enjoyed the great family pics you posted on Ellen's memorial. Would love to have list of children in family pics for my research. I took better pic of their headstone but cannot remove Leota's even though they've transferred all memorials to me because of her death. You can contact me at kathy@grandmasshop.com. Hope to hear from you. Kathy Ross

Alexander McLaren
bluebell:

On Elizabeth McLaren Turner's page, you asked for any information on Alexander McLaren.

Here is Alexander McLaren's page in my Ancestry.com family tree: http://person.ancestry.com/tree/59156397/person/44042085239/facts. There's a lot of info there, but we don't know where he was buried.

Don Laabs

RE: Thank you
Yes, I do have a copy of the cemetery map- I will gladly give it to you.

There is also a newer website that has the St John listing with their locations in the cemetery - http://history.smrld.org/st-john-cemetery-records/ - it has been very helpful.

Regards,
Cindy

Thank you for the wonderful bio of Mr. Freeman. I decided to search for his place of death, and discovered the sad circumstances of his demise. Do you know if his daughter survived? Is she buried in Tonganoxie?

Hello, a question about Morris Ettinger
I really enjoyed seeing your wonderful photo of Morris Ettinger. He surely looks like he could be one of "my" Ettingers and he is from the right place too. Weisenberg Twp, Macungie, Wescosville and East Texas are all close in that neck of PA.

As if that were not suggestive enough, your Morris' son was Harry Jonas. My line had a Harry Jonas that I just discovered last night, and I mentioned him on his brother's memorial til I have the chance to research him. He was born well before yours but the name matching is too weird. Look for the mention of him not far from the top here.

Might you know who your Morris' folks were? And my gang mostly stayed close to home... how'd Morris get out there?
