Bio

I was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and I now live near Houston, Texas. I have worked for several contracting companies with NASA on the Space Shuttle program while I've been here in Texas. I used to work on the main simulator which was used to train Shuttle astronauts. I can say I easily have over 1000 hours stick time in the simulator flying the Space Shuttle. Not many can claim that!

I am working on a tree on Ancestry.com encompassing 8 surnames: Ferris, Morris, Harris, McCoy (my 4 grandparents), Hicks, Pattison, Johnson & Chandler (my wife's 4). It is way too large a slice to put into a single tree. One piece of advice for new starters: Limit yourself to one primary surname per tree and establish limits on how far beyond that surname you want to explore, then stick to your guns!

Find A Grave is an invaluable tool! I have encountered many friendly people in my time here on Find A Grave. I am using it almost every day.

I will be happy to help anyone who asks, within my abilities.

Happy Hunting!
