Bio

My name is Dixie Marlene Mudgett(Cate) Mathews. I was born in Albany Oregon in Jan 1942 to Ray Wiley Mudgett & Dorothy Lorraine Cade. I have two sisters: Sunny (Jul 1939) & Terry(Dec 1942). We moved to Texas in 1945. We grew up in Slaton, Texas. My older sister lives in Whiteface, Texas & I live in Gun Barrel City, Texas & my younger sister lives in Monett, Missouri.

I have a son & daughter with the last name of Cate and two stepdaughters who had the last name of Watson. Clarence Arnold 'Porky" Watson & I were common-law man & wife. He died of a heart attack in Dec 1998.

My hobbies are singing, drawing, enjoying my grandchildren and doing family research. I also still work for a living. Find-A-Grave is a fantastic site. I have found so much information here on my relatives. You all do such a great job.
