I live in Princeton, IN. My paternal grandparents were John Lindsey & Emma Mae Slaughterbeck Elliott. My maternal grandparents were John & Sarah Elsfelder Hunt.|
The majority of the info & photos that I post are/were taken by Daniel Elliott & posted with his permission.
PLEASE use the EDIT method to contact me regarding transferring or linking memorials. Some emails are going into the SPAM box.
Would like to transfer all the memorials I have created, except my own kin. I am getting too old too soon. However, if you have updates please let me know & I will continue to enter them.
Send any comments or corrections to me by way of EDITS, I am not getting a lot of direct emails.
PS I can NOT understand why anyone would add a name of a LIVING person to FAG... Just because the GEN webmaster adds a name to his list because the person has a pre-need stone does not mean he/she should be added to FAG. I already have my stone set.

Thanks, Janet, the obituaries are quite useful. I did hear back from Aaron John Turner & he was going off of Ben's obituary listing his surviving children. If you don't mind, could I add these obituaries to her memorial, I would of course give you credit for them.
|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Transfer|
Thanks for the transfer of Lillian Feverston Barrett. I am not related but do research on all memorials I add to get the most complete information that is available. I have left the conflicting data on her memorial with a note & have included my findings so other can decide for themselves what is the correct information. Be assured that I will transfer to a descendant when they come along.

I think I found the confusion. Benjamin m. 2nd Anna Sokeland & had 8 more children, if you count the 3 living children from the first marriage to Lillian this makes 11 children. I think he assumed they would be all Lillian's children, which they are not.
|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Re: Lillian Feverston Barrett|
I do not know how he came up with this many children, she married 8,Nov,1920 in Vanderburgh Co. IN & died the 12,Aug,1931, this is 3 mos. shy of 11 years of marriage. 1930 census has only Gene,Jenelyn & Ben, of course the infant isn't on this census & neither is Carolyn since she was born & died the same year as her mother in 1931 a year after this census. All trees I have found confirms only the 5 that I have sent. I think it would be impossible for her to have given birth to 11 children in 10 years 9 months of marriage. To have given birth to 11 children before you 27 birthday, would be a record, she would have been pregnant constantly for 11 years.

Thanks for creating memorials for my Polk kin. It would be convenient for me to add information to the memorials if they were transferred to me.

Hello, Would you like me to transfer him to you? I am not related - I had the cemetery index. My girls have ancestors in this part of Indiana, hence my interest Thank you!
