It was listed as Smithfield which is now known as Middleway area in Jefferson County.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, it looks like they are likely cousins. James Dunn was married to my gg-grandmother's sister Catharine Knisely. They had a son Harrie, who is fairly well researched.

My pleasure. I wish the sun had cooperated a little better. Perhaps I'll get up there again and take some more photos.

I have a question in the meantime; did Lucian Dunn have a brother James, who was killed in the Battle of Gettysburg? If so, then we may be related (by marriage.)
