Bio and Links
Bio Photo I been working on my ancestry information for a a few years (but will always be a beginner) on the following families:

- Rickard, Morrison, Fry & Knapp from West Virginia
- Girton, Hidlay, Herrold, & Yeager from Pennsylvania.

I am working with Family Tree Maker 2012. I really enjoy working with this program. Today (Sept. 9, 2013) I uploaded my tree "Sharon's World & Beyond". This project, and some quilting, helps to keep my mind active!

Originally from West Virginia. I've lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and I now live in Kentucky. As I visit other little "burgs" I stop and take a few shots of monuments if I can get to them! I love the different styles from elaborate to simple - I love them all ... especially the hard carved historical markers!

I'm willing to get out to take photos if they are easy to get to! Can't climb all over the country sides any more! Also, if there is a memorial that you would like to maintain just let me know!

Thanks for any help! God Bless! Sharon

If you have the time, please stop by and visit my Mom and Dad. I miss them very much!

And for all of you who has lost a four legged loved one, please know that our heart goes out for your loss. Please take time to visit our little lost Angel.

RE: Lafayette Riddle
It has been cleaned up nicely. My daughter & I searched for 30 minutes. There are a few places where it looks like markers used to be there. I thought it strange that the wife's marker named her as his wife but I could not find his marker. There was another close to hers that was well hidden by plants, but it was a different Riddle and an earlier date. Perhaps a relative?

I searched the cemetery today to photograph this. I found his wife's grave, but not his.

George A Schoolcraft
You have George A Schoolcraft as being buried in the Clendenin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Can you tell me how you found this? Years ago I was told my a grandson that George and a daughter, Rebecca, were both buried in the Canterbury Cemetery at Gabe Creek. How do you know he is buried in the Clendenin Memorials Gardents Cemetery? George is my 2nd great grandfather, my first grandfather was Edward Johnson Schoolcraft.

Thank you very much for taking my advice and moving Bob's memorial to Andover Township.
And BLESS YOU for adding his plot location. I have just been going through and trying to make sure that the plot locations are on the memorials.
Thanks again and have a good week.

RE: Jessie Grace Kapp Hager
Aloha Sharon,

Good connecting with you. Really appreciate all the work you have already done - we'll let you know if we find other connections to be added. We are in email connection with Massey and Kapp family in WV and Roseberry in IN! Planning on sharing what we've found with them. Trying to be as accurate as possible, though some of the older records can be difficult to read. Did you every find any German/French records for John Ivan Kapp or Charlotte Cormich/Hawich....? Tom and I met in Munich over 28 years ago - I'm a Brit and that's a whole other family!

Mahalo - Thanks

Sorry I don't have any info on his wife. I connect to the family by way of Vincent's wife.

I updated his birthdate to 1851. His death record has it listed as 1857. In doing the math based on his age, also listed on his death record, 1851 appears to be accurate. Thanks for letting me know about the error.
