|Teri Murray||Uriah Wood|
Good morning, Mr. Martin. I am searching for information about my ancestors in order to write a family bible. During my searches on the www.findagrave.com website I found a listing for Uriah Wood whom I believe is my great grandmother's brother. Someone I have been searching for information about for many years. Can you tell me what records or publications were used in order to find this burial record(and/or any other information about Euriah, his wife Elisabeth sometimes spelled Elizabeth or Elizebeth, and their children)? They are shown in Penfield, GA on the 1870 census (born 1843), Hello or Red Lick, Warren county on the 1880 census (born 1843), Beaver Dam Oglethorpe county on the 1900 census (born 1840) and Militia District 241, Clarke Georgia on the 1910 Census (born 1837). I would greatly appreciate any referrals you can provide me with regarding county records and publications relating to African America records for 1810 - 1980)for Clarke and Oglethorpe Counties. Best wishes. Teri Murray 847-475-0047 home 224-420-6956 cell phone. Evanston, IL.

Perhaps you could get these two people linked together. There are just the two of them identified in this cemetery. They are husband and wife. Miles Hill and Tabitha C (Pope) Hill. They had at least one daughter. Her name is Malinda Hill, she married
John Scott McGehee. John Scott McGehee is my 2C
Thanks for all the work you do.

Hi Carl, it has been brought to my attention that you and I have both entered memorials for my relative Charles Brackett. Apparently they were entered one day appart. I never expected someone else to enter a memorial for
Charles that quickly. However, I would appreciate it if you would delete your record as I am his relative and have already linked his memorial to his parents memorials. If you would be kind enough to do this I would greatly appreciate it. Kindest regards, Diane

Carl, Check out the photo to his memorial (very strange). You might want to contact F.A.G. about this photo. When I found this photo I was actually looking for Richard Marion Paul, he appears to have married Mary Frances LeSueur (her 1st., husband???).
