Bio Photo Love Find-A-Grave. What a great site!

I live west of Denver, Colorado and am happy to take photos at Mt. Olivet, Golden Hill and other nearby cemeteries.

I have been researching my family for a couple years. I am interested in Shackletts, Wilsons, Corbins, Stevensons. Not to mention Welches, Shaws, Shoemakers, Beevers, and Barngrovers!

RE: John Shacklett

LOL .... yes, I think I noted he was buried next to a "LaVerne" (or with) when I spoke to the cemetery .... will photograph them both.

RE: Grace Shacklett Photo

You're very welcome, Paris. When I didn't find a marker for John Shacklett, I thought maybe he was buried in one of the unmarked graves next to Grace. Checked with cemetery and found out he was buried in another part of the cemetery. Will catch him next time I visit Inglewood.

RE: Hutchinson Graves
You are very welcome! All of the Hutchinson stones were dark with not much contrast in the lettering. Plus, that section of the cemetery is shaded. We tried various angles and flashes, we even went back the next day...nothing seemed to improve the readability of the engraving.

We're expecting a storm here so we thought we better do it fast. Glad you like the photos.

RE: Fred B. Shacklett
Thank you. Just saw him on Findagrave and wondered who he was.
Back to Fred's father, maybe I'm dreaming, but didn't I have Wichita newspaper info on the tragic death of John G. and his 2nd wife in 1920 included in the bio of his page?

RE: Canada Jeffers
Paris--Denman and Etta were also in the same plot as Canzada and the other Jeffers. Not sure if their photo's will help you. Have a great week..Katie (Kay)

RE: Canada Jeffers
You are Welcome. Her headstone was in a semi-shaded area and the type of stone made it harder to read her stone which read as Canzada Jeffers. I also took and posted other's in the same plot. Ernest, Ruth, Dorothy and Ralph Jeffers. Etta Carey and Denman Carey. Glad I could help.
