Nice to see another..... fan of Helene Hanff! She has been a long-time favorite of mine; her books always have made me smile. Always felt a kinship with her, as I, too, am a confirmed Anglophile AND the daughter of a University English Lit Professor (my mom!), who drilled a love of books and essays into me. I will always bless her for that. Do you love "84, Charing Cross Road"? My parents actually were there, before it was demolished, back in the late 60s. I traveled there afterwards, sadly. But my love of Hanff books will live on forever!
Glad to see your tribute to Helene Hanff, Steve. God's blessings to you and yours,
HOW ARE YOU? Hello Steven, It's Annamarie. How are you? I am still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. These terrible upsets take time, to even start to feel the slightest bit better. But one day, you will start to feel better. That does not mean you will forget, but your heart will not feel as heavy. Take care, God Bless, Annamarie.
RE: SO SORRY. Hello Steven, it's Annamarie. Thank you so much for your message. I have not been on here recently, I have had problems with the computer and the internet. I had no connection a week. It's working at the moment, but the computer is very slow. How are you getting on? These things always take time. I was sad to hear about Xena and Angel. I have know some very nice pit bulls. I have also known several people, who have had no real thought for their animals. I can never understand it. At least they knew you loved them. You must take care of yourself. I am still keeping all of you in my thoughts. Until next time, God Bless, Annamarie.
HI STEVEN IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE. I HAVE NOT BEEN ON AS OFTEN BECAUSE I HAVE REALLY BEEN BUSY. LIKE ALWAYS, IT IS ALWAYS GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU. I HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER. YOU ARE A SPECIAL FRIEND TO ME. MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL UPCOMING WEEK.
