Feel free to use the fotos I have taken if it is for private use or posting elsewhere. If you make money off of one of my fotos I want a piece of the action!

I'll gladly relinquish control of most any memorial I may have created if you are related to the deceased.

OK, I usually don't wear the glasses in public.

RE: Ida Jane Webster Hill
I thought she might have been in the Webster plot too but couldn't find them either. It might just be to worn to read their markers. I'll try again next time I'm out there now that I know where they should be.

Location added and memorial linked with parents. Thank you very much! Let me know if you'd prefer to maintain the memorial, or if you have anything else you'd like to add. --Harriet

Mordecia Adcock
FYI - now have a photo of Mordecia's gravestone. It's in sad shape, but does have 1867 as the year of death that we'd been questioning.

The date I have shown is the date on the tombstone. I believe it to be more accurate than the article in the book (taken from a newspaper).

Newspapers of that era often used "instant" and "ultimate" instead of naming the month, which was confusing to a lot of people. Also, these flowery tributes were sometimes written as much as a month later and the date could be easily misconstrued.

The obit showed that he died "on Saturday" and both of these dates are on a Saturday, a week apart, but in different months. I think the writer of the article got the date wrong.

I have re-worded the bio on the memorial. See what you think.

Thanks, Bobbie

WOW! You are incredible!! Thank you for your extraordinary efforts to try and locate this cemetery for me. If I ever make it to Georgia I will be sure to rent a 4-wheel drive off-road vehicle =) to try to track down my ancestors. THANK YOU again. All the best to you.

RE: Payne Pictures Thank you
Just saw your question. Of course you can add the photos. Do I need to do anything? I'm still new to this site, so not sure.

RE: Payne Pictures Thank you
Absolutely! I was visiting in the area and thought I'd see what I could find to contribute to this site. It was an interesting adventure! Glad you can use the picture.
