Kolk, Fulton Township Cemetery
AJ, recently I photographed Kolk memorials at Fulton Township. The marker is close to the Jan van Akkeren/Abeltje Nauta memorial. Abbie's first husband was Jacob/John Kolk. When I turned to leave, I spotted a Kolk memorial with some familiar names, John and George. These Kolk's are not in my tree but I've the photos. Can you help me identify them. They are related to Ella Kolk 1885-1908 memorial. John Jr 1893-1895. George 1902-1902. Grandma 1826 - 1903. Mother 1866 - 1943. Father 1863 - 1919. If you can supply the memorials I'll be happy to add the photographs.

Hello, AJ
The photo you refer to in your post to me was attached by another person, Colette Harrison, that I have no control over and Colette has passed away so I have no idea how to help you with this problem that you stated in your email to me as follows: "I don't believe that is a correct photo of Beulah Phelps, she was in her 40's when she died and this photo looks much older. Perhaps it is her daughter Beulah?" other than add your post to the memorial as a part of her "Bio". I hope that will be OK with you. Thanks for the heads up for others to be aware of. Earl

RE: Curious
Re: "I took some pictures of some stones that you had created the memorial for, (none that are of relation to me just ones I find interesting/local). Are you related to the Eaton family buried in Whiteside Co. IL"

Two of my Daines family relatives married Eatons, so the families intermingle.

Thanks for the photo additions to the memorials; I'll have some adjusting to do to the memorials in light of the new information. Every bit of information—including tombstone info—is another piece of the puzzle to help figure out the family structure.

Mino Kamphuis
AJ,
Thanks so much for taking the pic of Mino's headstone, #132005322. Would you be so kind as to add your pic to his wife's memorial, Nellie Hamphuis, #132239044?
Thanks again!
Beth

RE: Capt William Abner Wilson
Amanda,

That's funny, you're related to Kate Woodward, married to W.A. Wilson? So is my husband, it's his 2nd great grand aunt. I don't know how much you have researched for the Woodwards but I'd be more than happy to share what we have for them. In fact, our 19-year-old son's middle name is Woodward.

I can email a link to our Ancestry tree and you can take a look, see if there's anything new or interesting there for you.

My email is journalnights@yahoo.com

Capt wilson
Hi! Thanks so much for creating a memorial for my husband's 2nd great grand uncle!

116318822 Capt William Abner Wilson

He was really active in the civil war and from what we understand, a great man!

If it's o.k with you, I'd like to manage his memorial....

Your volunteer work if really appreciated!

We've lived in NJ for the past 12 years so there's no way we would have gotten out to Capt Wilson's grave site.

Thank you so very much.

Have a great Spring!!! Jen
