I'm very interested in family history and I love cemeteries. Most of my ancestors have been in this country for more than 200 years. The lines I'm actively researching moved from New York to Michigan and from somewhere (Virginia, we think) to northern Kentucky/southern Indiana/southern Ohio. I ended up in Minnesota, spending more than 30 years in St. Paul before moving up to Duluth on the beautiful north shore of Lake Superior. I recently retired & have moved to southern Michigan where I look forward to doing more in-person family history research.
RE: Eliz M Chance Headstone Photo Not a problem since I like cold weather as long as the wind isn't blowing like mad. Also I didn't see John anywhere close, or even on the city page that lists those in the cemeteries. Happy New Year to you as well. Patti
Hickey family in Saint Annes Roman Catholic Cemetery I don't know if the Hickey's are family of yours but figured, since you made memorials for some of them with links to other family members, they might be. I was at Saint Annes Roman Catholic Cemetery in Palmyra, NY last week and photographed the headstones of Maurice, Ethel, Thomas, and Richard. There was no memorial for the latter so I created it. After checking the 1930 census to be sure he was related, I added Maurice and Ethel as his parents.
Williams/Lake View Thanks for the info regarding Lovina Heckman Williams at Lake View Cemetery. Please note a previous memorial for her with the surname of Bishop at #107076129.I have deleted my version and have suggested to the manager for that memorial that her surname is Williams, since that is the name on her grave marker and Henry Williams appears to be her last husband. If you have any questions please let me know.
Angelo Cometo Thank you so much for your response to my request regarding my great-grandfather, Angelo Cometo. I have included some additional information if you would be interested in reading a article that I had obtained years ago regarding his passing. Thank you again. Debbie
