Carolyn B. Leonard, author, freelance magazine writer, genealogist, speaker, past president of Oklahoma Writers Federation, recently honored in Kentucky for locating and marking graves of American Revolutionary Patriots. She is author of the book "Who's Your Daddy? A Guide to Genealogy from Start to Finish" and enjoys presenting workshops and programs to help people find their family's place in history. www.CarolynBLeonard.com

Findagrave guidelines say request only transfer within four generations, but I sometimes agree to transfer more distant relatives - so long as they are not also my ancestors.
