Thank you for the additional information. We had emailed about this some...I think...My cousin who is a descendant of Spartan Goodlett was in Arkansas in June from Texas and was trying to go by there and find this cemetery. He is the one most interested. We are Both Glad to know someone is working with the family who owns the land now. My cousin in just getting interested in family history and geneology...and I think he got overwhelmed in June trying to see 10-15 cemeteries all over southern Arkansas. Remember Us...if any thing developements concerning the Goodlett Grave and cemetery. I run our Hopson n Stuart family reunion and will always be in contact with alot of Goodlett descendants of Spartan Greenville Goodlett through one of his son's lines...who married into our Walker and Cowling line....Thanks Travis

Thanks for the information. I looked him up on Fold3 and saw that he was indeed "slightly wounded in the mouth" at the battle of Murfreesboro on Dec 31, 1862, and was hospitalized at Atlanta, but was back on active duty in Feb. 1863. Quarterly attendance cards show him present through August 1863. He died at a hospital in Atlanta on Oct 22, 1863. No cause of death is given. I've added this info to his memorial.

It is David Lewis Walker. It looks like he was born on Dec 9, 1955 and Died Dec 5, 1956. But when I go back out there I will take a closer look at it.
