Bio

I have lived near Trinidad, California since 1970. Trinidad is on the Pacific Coast about 60 miles south of Oregon. I was born in Owen, Wisconsin and lived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin until the age of four when my family moved to San Diego, California.

I started researching my relatives via the internet in early 2010. My father's grandparents and parents came to this country from Norway and settled in North Dakota and my mother's grandparents arrived here from Norway and settled in Wisconsin.

Ron Rosenberg introduced me to Find A Grave. I "met" Ron on the internet while researching the Norseville School near Strum, Wisconsin, which my mother attended and which led me to discover a great amount of family history. Thank you Ron.

Jim Seidelman has been my mentor for all things Find A Grave. Thank you Jim for all of your help and for all of your transfers of family memorials.

The main family names are: Thompson, Haugen, Nestande, Nelson and Amundson.
