|Sandi Gill||RE: Pyle photo requests|
Your may use the photos of the Pyles and others in the plots. I wish I could materialize the headstones :-) I have some in my family too.
Here are all the Pyles from the register.
231 Harry Pyle 5 Apr 24 1881 203 B
1592 Henry Pyle 82 Jan 4 1902 111 B
73 Mary L w/o Stephen Pyle 35 Dec 2 1879 203 B
928 Mrs. Catharine Pyle 46 Oct 4 1892 203 B
1042 Rachael Pyle 66 Feb 3 1894 111 B
2527 Stephen Pyle 72 Sep 20 1914 203 B
609 Still Born Pyle 0 Jan 16 1888 206 B
I see some match up with Find A Grave memorials. Ignore the first number; that's the entry number. Then you have age, DOD, plot and section.
|Sandi Gill||Pyle photo requests|
I'm about to post a few photos you requested from Mount Zion. You'll notice immediately that there is no proper headstone for the husband and wife. In the plot, B-111 there are six stones which correspond in part to what is given in the only list I have ( a partial register) for Mount Zion.
Franklin Pyle's name is not on my list, but the surname shows he is probably the son of Mother (Rachel) and Father (Henry), who are on my list. Ralph Kurten is on my list but I did not find a stone for him. Where I would expect to find Ralph, there are Earl, Rosa, and Edward Kurten. There is also a Mildred Hendricks listed but I saw no sign of her stone.
A group picture shows where the placement is. I hope this makes some sense. I will try to explain this is the photo caption.:)
Sorry, no I'm not related to Mark Moorefield. I make it a habit to check cemetery records before I claim a request. I also check the memorial for any additional information. His memorial says the burial will be at this cemetery at a later date, so I'm guessing it just hasn't happened yet. The cemetery has excellent records.
Your photo request for Mark Moorefield can not be completed at this time. The cemetery does not have a record for this person. I would love to fulfill the request if he were there, but, it appears he isn't. I'm sorry to have to let you know this information.
|Honoring our ancestors||Links question|
Sorry I attached a note to the declined edit but I guess it didn't go through.
I don't link memorials to burial unknowns. If you find the burial location of the father you wanted to link please resubmit.
Hello, I recently tried to link Albert Gallatin with his father, Jeremiah Gallatin (#164992809) but it was declined." Reason: Content Submitted does not belong in this data field."
Could you explain what this means. What did I do wrong?
|Cori H||RE: McClellan Yates|
Yes, use of the photo is okay. Please credit the source. Regards, Cori

I can see what you're saying about the duplicate memorial. I transferred #37297879 to you some time in the past. The other one, #14582317, is managed by has2beshasta. I have had 0 luck getting responses from has2beshasta in the past, so I believe that he/she is no longer active on findagrave. I have even complained about it to findagrave, but they have not done anything about it. So I have started creating duplicate memorials for people who need changes / additions.
On the subject of taking a picture of the adjacent headstone, I have moved to Wyoming and don't get back over to Blackfoot very often. I would suggest that you create a new memorial for "Unknown Miller", Explain the situation on the memorial, and do a photo request for it. Maybe someone in the Shelley area will go take the picture for you.

Sorry, I didn't see this message until I got back from the cemetery. I live about 45 min. from Heber, and I didn't see this in time. I did a quick check on Minnie's death certificate and it says the burial location is Heber City. So, she should be buried there. Check with the sexton of the cemetery and see if they have any records of the burial. If they don't have the information then the info on the death certificate might be wrong. Where she died in Park City, Summit County, you might want to look at cemetery there; just to cover all bases. The spelling on the certificate was Murdock, so you might have to look at different spellings.
Again, sorry I didn't see it sooner. If the sexton has the info, put in a request for the picture and I'll go up again when I get a minute.
As my bio says my photos are there to use.
