I would like for anyone that is related to this person to give me more information about them in the message box or please, contact me in Mendenhall, in Simpson County Mississippi and leave a message on the phone or even by E-mail, if you'd like. There are some pieces to the puzzle to the family tree, I'd love to record, what happened to the rest of the clan, who were the siblings, who married who, where and when. And naturally their grave site. ESPECIALLY their grave site. I have info and pictures of some, also.
Dougal C McPhail If this Dougal McPhail is the one who was the husband of Laodecia (Dicy) McPhail then you have his dates wrong. This family of McPhails was still in North Carolina in 1799 when he had his first 4 children baptized in the Presbyterian church in Wade, North Carolina, outside of Fayetteville. The Jacob McPhail that this cemetery is named for was one of their sons.
Edit Request I am creating memorial pages on several Roeling family members, the matriarch, Amelia Brunold Roeling, wife of Dr. Henry William Roeling, is my distant cousin. I am trying to link all of the family members on Find-a-Grave. I discovered your pages on Henry Earl Roeling, Jr. (Find A Grave Memorial# 92145706) and his parents Henry Roeling, Sr. (# 72518516) and Mayme Tuite Roeling (# 92147154). Unfortunately, you have Henry Roeling Sr. incorrectly linked to another Roeling relative instead of his father. You have him linked to Dr. William Henry Roeling # 6561433 (born Sep 8 1903 - died May 14 1954). The parents Henry Sr. were Dr. Henry William Roeling (# 97891395) (born Jan 31 1882 - died Apr 10 1948) and Amelia Brunold Roeling (# 97891623). Henry William Roeling and William Henry Roeling were related and both were doctors. Would you be so kind and edit your pages to correct these links, linking Henry Sr. To Dr. Henry Roeling and Amelia Brunold.
My name is Renea and I am Homer's ggrandaughter. I am afraid you have his death date wrong. He died dec 15, 1966 not June 6, 1974 that is the day that my ggrandmother died. Would love to find out more about your branch of our ever growing tree.
I am afraid that in this case I will not be transferring these memorials. This is the 2nd great grandmother of my spouse's grandmother, who is still living. I was with her when these photos were taken. And she asked me to manage her family's memorials.
RE: Gary & Nancy I sure will. It probably means that we have a VERY DISTANT connection as well as Nancy and I were Simril family "cousins". We met on this site and she is really missed! I will save your info and pass it along if the opportunity arises. Happy Hunting!
Gary & Nancy Hi, I do not have any direct contact to them, only though findagrave. Gary's wife passed away suddenly last year and I am not sure how active he is at the moment. Almost all of the people that they have listed are their family as well so you are probably connected to him with a common ancestor. I would just give him time. Sorry that I could not be of more help.
