With regard to burials in Scotland, I have visited a few that I list, the majority of the data is taken from monumental inscription booklets that I have purchased through the years.

I will not provide a literal transcription "off list" because I believe in the work the local FHS's are doing. Recording a burial ground requires much time and materials. Although the time is a volunteer effort, I think we should spring for lunch or dinner or both for their efforts. Actually, what they provide is priceless when you live across the pond and we need to support the ongoing effort.

What I have listed is minimal info, I have not included many details.

I am hoping to provide enough information in order for you to make an informed decision as to which booklet pertains to your ancestors. These booklets are available at a nominal fee and well worth the purchase. Secondly, I am hoping to create a dialogue with regard to ancestors / descendents from this area.

If you require further information for MI's that I list that do not include a photo, I have listed the website where you can purchase the booklet. I cannot list the web addy if someone else has claimed the burial ground prior. If it is not listed, please contact me.
