I will transfer any memorial to a relative when asked.

I have been doing genealogy since 1992 and love it.

RE: George W
I agree, this is probably not your George. The stone appears to be that of an infant or small child.
I did a quick check of the cemetery readings and found no Ehrhart burials. There are some Earharts, but they are several miles from Chili, and no George.
Good luck finding him!

RE: George W
According to a cemetery reading from the late 1970's, the other name is "Benjamin F." His Find-A-Grave memorial is 61432081. Perhaps brothers? Surnames around this marker are Clendening, Guyer, Vanblaricom, and Brown. Any connections there?
I was able to wiggle the stone a bit, but I could not lift it out of the dry ground to try to read more. This one was a challenge to find to boot!

RE: Timothy Broadnax
I am sorry, as I don't have an obit, Timothy died before many were ever put on line. Your best bet would be to contact the Rockingham Co., NC Historical Society, Eden, NC, as they may be able to help you. Sorry, I wish I could help you more, but I can't, Larry

I'll do that! I try to keep all my messages and look through them off and on to see if anything I need to check on...I'll make a note in my journal with those names :)

RE: henry Wilking
that is confusing!...I've come across a few like that and when they are right beside one another but actually different cemeteries I've found that there are huge amounts of duplicate entries for the same persons at both cemeteries...real pain! Vinson and Old Vinson in Summittville is that way.

I added the photo to show where the stone would be because there is no stone there now or it was unmarked but this shows the section and also where other family members are buried...the Walker memorial is not what the picture is of.
