I will transfer any memorial to a relative when asked.

I have been doing genealogy since 1992 and love it.

RE: Philip Ehrhart
I found Euphemia! She is on the same stone as Philip. I noticed on Find a grave that his sister and parents are buried at Trinity Cemetery which is very close to me also. Have you looked at their records? If you need anything, let me know.

On Euphemia, the person who put the record in spelled her name wrong so to see the pics, look her up by Erehart. I submitted an edit for it and another edit to link her to her father. Pretty exciting!!

RE: Philip Ehrhart
LOL, I would if I could find it!! I will find her because she wrote me up a bunch of family tree and she was also looking for Philip's grave. I told her we were having a 200th anniversary for the parish in May or June, 2017 and she said she would like to come. I am writing the church history and trying to update the cemetery records to include.

She also told me about the book a relative of yours had written but the only place I can find it is in a library in Illinois ( or something like that). I would love to read it.

So, there are 2 things I will find for you 1) Philip's wife's name and 2) the name and email of the other relative. LOL!!

RE: Philip Ehrhart
ok, I will be out in Dungannon shortly, I thought you were another relative who had also contacted me. She and I had talked about your family tree and how she was related. Anyway, Euphemia might be on the same stone with him. I need to see if I can see any of a different inscription. I will be posting more photos later today, I hope.

I will look for his wife's name in know I have seen it somewhere.

RE: Philip Ehrhart
Hi Claire,

I lost your email address, so I couldn't email you right away when I found it. I have been doing a lot of work in the cemetery, trying to get everything documented because I am putting together a little comb bound book of the cemetery for the genealogical society and now a few church members want to buy one.

Anyway, I was there yesterday and looking for some graves I don't have pictures of and I was trying to decipher some of the ones I could't read before. The light must have been just right and I got a few that i couldn't get before. Philip was one of them. That is why the picture is at an odd angle and shows just the inscription. I wasn't sure tip I got it home and blew the pic up.

I am going back today so I will take a better picture of the monument. It is in pretty good shape considering its age. I will see what I can find out about a wife I think I have it somewhere because i read that he was not Catholic and his wife converted him. Then he gave th land for the Catholic church. I am going to put some flowers on the grave too, just because I am so happy to have found it - he was very important to the church history!

Send me your email - I will keep in touch!

RE: Elmer Gore
You are welcome. Was that the right one? On the headstone it looked like Core vs Gore but the dates matched.

I bel that some of the stone pictures you are requesting may not be able to be fulfilled. Some of the Hoppes names are not on the Madison Co Cem Commission list either, that most likely means there was no stone, or it was unreadable. I do not know for sure how they compiled the list whether they did it from cemetery records at the library or they actually had records from the cem or what. Mabel Marie (Hoppes) Kirkwood is bur there and she is not on the list either. I just found a death cert for her. Her parents were Andrew Jackson Hoppes & Laura Surber.
