I will transfer any memorial to a relative when asked.

I have been doing genealogy since 1992 and love it.

Claire, thank you for all your contributions to the Findagrave website. I would like permission to use your photographs of my relatives' gravesites in my Family Tree files. I use the photos as source media and will gladly give you credit for your work. Becky

RE: boone stuff
"Called several funeral homes and nobody knows anything about it and person on record that is suppose to maintain it - doesn't exist very strange."

Sometimes funeral homes don't know about old cemeteries that haven't had a recent burial...say since 1900. Right now the cemetery my great grandfather's grave is located doesn't have a contact person as she died a few years ago. I did see that the county jail inmates did go and mow it last summer. I imagine someone arranged that...which was good.

RE: Ida Rinker
I was born in St. John's, and my aunt worked there some year later, so I was quick to spot the error.

Sorry, but I am not aware of any Rinker researchers. However, if I do, I will try to remember to have them contact you. I am working on the Spaulding line at the moment.

Kathy in NW Indiana
Related only through the marriage of Schies to Abel. But, as a genealogy addict, I had to research them too. Keep me informed of any updates or corrections.

RE: George and Pricillia Ehrhart
I spoke with a historian when I was taking pictures. This cemetery is known as Trinity, but used to be know as reformed. The other cemetery is also known as reformed. I can tell you, I was at the cemetery you have your loved one listed and there are not that many stones there. There are many that fall into this same category.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm working on that group of people right now.

I think Blanche Louise was also Lucy. That's terrible that someone would turn you in. There are a TON of memorials with burial location unknown on findagrave. I stumble on them often. Some people are just unkind. I have found sometimes if you at least post the name, link them to parents and/or spouse, someone will eventually notify you of burial location. Also sometimes requesting a photo of spouse turns up the other person in same cemetery. I could not find marrige record for the sister Katherine A.

Blanch Louise Salade linked to parents. I requested through SAC but they transferred memorials to me though I didn't ask. Sometimes contributors would rather do that than take the time to add info and make links. So I took care of it.
